So we are considering adding a third dog to our home : )

That's her -- they think she's a Jack Russel Beagle but I don't SEE IT. She's small and has a very pointy face but that "Pitbull smile.." any thoughts?

I dont see any pit bull, jack russel yes I see it but not beagle, she is too big to be a beagle cross, I would think more like lab or possibly some other breed of hound. The pointy face is very JRT.

That's what I was thinking, def Jack Russel because of the face but other than that not sure -- they said she will be about 30lbs...

american bulldog mix? (the standard type not the wrinkly face kind)

i can see how someone might think it's a pit bull, the two are frequently confused...

I showed the picture to a friend that breeds and trains pit bulls and she didn't see any pit bull in her.

She's the cutest, sweetest most awesomest mutt, so no : ) But I'm so curious, I can't help it!

I recently saw a dog breed test kit online - claimed to use DNA to determine breed. You might try googling for it. Not sure of cost, or reliability, though.
She's adorable! The ears make me guess there's some lab in there... Did you get her?

the DNA tests are a joke. I know someone who has a purebred, titled American Staffordshire Terrier who tested as mostly border collie. I also know people with pit bulls who came back mostly yorkie.
