belly button covers -- do they really work?

Has anyone tried a belly button cover to hide a poking-out pregnant navel? There seem to be two brands, Miss Oops Popper Stoppers (http://www.amazon.com/Miss-Oops-Popper-Stoppers/dp/B001N444LI/) and Low Beams Nipple Concealers and Belly Button Covers (http://www.amazon.com/Low-Beams-Nipple-Concealers-Button/dp/B001LF11EW).

Having the bump of my belly button visible through my shirt is the kind of thing I normally don't care about at all. But I'm giving an important professional presentation in November, and it feels kinda unprofessional/distracting to have my belly button be so visible.

I tried various ways of covering it with bandaids, but the bandaid shape becomes visible.

I welcome either:
1) Do-it-yourself belly button cover advice,
or
2) Reviews/recommendations/experiences with either of the brands above, or others!

My belly button is "only a semi" as my husband says - sometimes it's kinda poking out, sometimes it's at full mast, depending on where baby is sitting. ;) But even on high-pop days, I find my layers keep it well-concealed... pregnancy pants + stretchy undertank + shirt or sweater keeps it under control. If I were really struggling with it, I'd add my belly band to the mix, that would definitely eradicate any poppage. xD

Are you normally layered or are you looking for something to wear under a single thin layer?

Wow!  I didn't even know they made these things!  I really want to hear if anyone has used them.

I've heard of using a band-aid for the same purpose. That might be worth a shot, since they'd be less expensive.

Yeah, I thought bandaids would work (the covers look an awful lot like bandaids!), but it totally looks like a bandaid under my shirt -- quite visible. And I tried a few different kinds. That's why I wondered if the products marketed for this purpose really work, or if they have the same problem.

I haven't tried one of my belly bands -- I'll try that tonight.
