Waiting for that boom moment!  Today marks 41 weeks, and my good friend due 10 days after me just had her baby this evening.

Evelyn (middle name TBD) was born last night at 7:54 PM. We went from discussing whether I was far enough along to get in the pool to me pushing her out on the foot of my bed 10 minutes later!

8 lbs 10 oz, 21 1/2 inches long, and 1 week early. ;) Pictures and birth story to follow soon.

I know, right?  No babies at all on the 20th or 21st, but then SIX on Thanksgiving?  How crazy is that?

That would be SEVEN on thanksgiving!  Bettie grey was born Thanksgiving.  I went into labor on my own on the way to my unplanned induction because my blood pressure spiked after being too low.  I stalled out and was put on pit-  21 hours of labor, with my second stage of labor being only 7 minutes- and she born at 7:03pm.  7lbs 15oz and 21 inches.  We are all deliriously tired from our hospital stay, but I'm sure I will be around in a few days.

Sora Nina was born at home at 3:39pm on 11/24/11 weighing 7lb 6oz (just a little thing for 41wk3d!) and 19-1/2 in long. I can't wait to write my birth story and share photos of my little girl! Hopefully this afternoon! She's snuggling with DH right now so I only have a little break before my nursing champ will be hungry again. She is TOTALLY a daddy's girl, btw! I am brought to tears and am just in awe every moment that I see him holding her and doting over her. I've never seen such emotion out of him; it is beautiful. DH was so unbelievably supportive in every way I could've ever hoped for during my labor, I feel like we are more in love than ever after this entire experience and now having a child together at the end of it all. I have a feeling I'm going to be bawling my eyes out when I write my birth story; I just feel so blessed. heartbeat.gif

Ella Lorraine was born on 11/21/11.  She shares a birthday with her dad!  She is 8lbs 2oz 18 1/2 inches and was born one day after her due date.  This was my first unmedicated birth.  It was very intense and painful, but I wouldn't change it!  It was also my shortest labor.  Birth story and pictures to come...

Yay!  Congrats Emily!!!!  Welcome Ella!!  joy.gif

I was wondering about you, Amy!  So glad she decided to come in November ;-)  Dylan was 8lbs 11oz and 21.5 inches- almost the exact same as Evelyn!

Wait, did I count EIGHT turkey babes?!  AMAZING!  joy.gif

Jasmin 11/28:

Well, I guess it worked because my little guy is here!  I posted on here around, what, 2pm and he got here at 8:36pm!  I may post the birth story in the next couple days, I'm actually feeling pretty good considering my 5"2' self just delivered a 10lb 15oz baby!  My mw was completely shocked, of course we all were, because even with my belly so big he just didn't feel like he could possibly be almost 11 pounds, even 9 days late.  I had my home birth, ended up having him in our bed and no tears!  Shew!

I hope your babies come soon and give you a wonderful birth experience!
