Secular Homeschooling in Ventura County/San Fernando Valley/West LA?

I have a four-year-old son and am planning on homeschooling. I'd like to start getting together with a homeschooling group for activities and park days and just general friendship. I've looked around online a bit and it seems that all the groups I'm finding are decidedly Christian. I am looking for a secular or free thinking group. Does anyone know of anything or have any tips on finding such a group?

Hi Cara -- I am no help whatsoever, but I too live in Simi and it's nice to see you around these boards.  If you find something, let me know. My DD is not yet school-aged, and I'm not sure that we'll homeschool, but it's nice to *meet* another non-Christian in Simi Valley, as the community seems to be overwhelmingly Christian and I'd love to find more like-minded mamas in the area.
