I just noticed today that my 19 month old has an attached frenulum (the part of skin that attaches from the inner upper lip to the upper middle gums- normally goes to the upper part of the gums- his goes to the lower part of gums in the middle of the tope front 2 teeth.) I am surprised I only noticed this now as I do check hs teeth regularly and brush them regularly. I am sad for him that he will need to have a procedure to fix it.
 He hasn't been to the dentist yet but I was planning to take him soon. Anyone else's child had this and how did it work out?
