Sick kids + rainy weather = no Halloween party tonight. Help!

So, I have to find some cool activity to make it up to my 5-yr-old, who is very disappointed she will not be able to go to the party we'd been looking forward to.  Trick or treat is not till Monday, so I don't think there's any danger of missing that, but she needs something to get her mind off her misery today.  Anybody know of any cool Halloween-y activities?  Her costume is fully made and ready, and she doesn't have any interest in embellishing it further.  House is already decorated to the hilt. We're on track for pumpkin carving tonight or tomorrow, but....what else?  I'm not all that crafty other than a penchant for cake decorating - maybe we could make a Halloween cake, but I hate the idea of pumping sugar into little bodies that are already fighting colds.

Any ideas for activities on the cheap?  Thanks!! :)

We're all fighting colds here too.  Bad timing, huh?

What about having a movie night (afternoon).  You could pop some popcorn and put on some halloween specials of kid shows (doesn't have to be scary).

Maybe you can still dress up at home and play some games.  Maybe a hunt?  It would be easy to hide some things around the house.
