Anyone tried chiro adjustments to alleviate ongoing adrenal fatigue that will not relent, regardless of treatment after two years?

I just started reading about it this morning.
Sadly, we are unemployed right now, and have no money to see one.
DH is good at making minor adjustments and very good at massage, so we may try and work harder on getting some of my years long kinks out.
Need to dig up my pilates stuff as well.
Just knowing that my chronically stiff neck and upper back may be the answer is rather exciting!
Any advise on what helped the most?
Interestingly enough it was a car accident with a resulting neck injury which sent me to the chiro. He was someone I knew socially but never professionally prior to the accident. Incidently enough I always thought it was steeped in a little too much woo to fix things besides back/neck injuries so I think I'm a pretty good impartial judge ;-)
