OMG! 17 mo is potty training HERSELF!

I was hoping DD would be as easy to potty train as DS (he took about 2 weeks and just a few accidents and was DONE), but this...

At first, she was insisting on getting up on the toilet and peeing. She can't speak more than a few words, so she was VERY insistent. Then we brought back the potty chair. She will pee in it whenever we remember to sit her on it. She's even pooped a couple times!

LOL yes they are.

My DD also trained herself.  I am hoping DS will easy.

When people ask me for advice I say "No ideas, she did it herself."

My daughter has been doing that for a few months too.  She's 20 months now and pretty much anytime we set her on the potty she goes.  Only one poop so far though.  She will tell us when she has to go occasionally too.  I feel as though I should just take the plunge and get her naked for a few days.  I'm sure it would click, but I'm just being lazy.
