We HAD to clean the house. It was getting appraised so we can buy it from my parents.

OMG, we got it done. We sent the kids to daycare (even though DH was home) so we could get some cleaning done, and I came down with a cough one day and had to stay home and clean...

We did it! It's clean, mostly... and staying that way! It's been a week now, and it is still clean! I love it.

BTW, the house appraised at $50k, but my parents are selling it to us for $30k... Yay!

YAY! What a great feeling! And an excellent deal on the house. I've been wanting to find a day at home without kids to clean. Unfortunately, we rely on family for child care and they are often HERE with the kids. Not conducive to cleaning... But I have tentatively booked next Friday to be home alone to clean!
