Is it too early to bust out the maternity clothes?

Because I'm already feeling so bloated and blah. DS #2 was born in September, so I have all summer maternity clothes. Of course!  LOL

Anybody else ready for their maternity clothes?

Even though I've lost almost 10 lbs due to morning sickness, my jeans are all too tight at the waist. I have serious boosting and haven't exercised. I'm wearing yoga pants so far. I've thought of getting a belly band for comfort.

Um, I'm 6 weeks, second pregnancy. I can not wear my regular pants comfortably. Sweatpants, bellybands, and maternity pants all the way. It's a little ridiculous.

I'm so glad Im not the only one. I broke them out last week -- and I'm only 8 weeks along.I'm just bloated, and any pressure on my belly makes me even more nauseated.

KS ... didn't we decide your having twins?!  ;)

I've been making do with skirts and leggings, but it's getting cold out there! My jeans are uncomfortable. I am so bloated.

lol.gif Oh man, I'll be interested to see! Two more days until my ultrasound. Check it out: 6 weeks. If this is not twins, then I am just embarrassingly out of shape and/or REALLY bloated.

I'm quite bloated too, my stomach was a little big to start with though.  I've been managing okay with just putting a hair elastic through my button hole and around the button on my jeans, but odds are the maternity pants will be out sometime in the next month.

KSDoulaMama - you look so cute and pregnant!

KSDoula- you are ridiculously adorable!

I agree with pp- I can fit in my jeans, but the extra pressure is so uncomfortable!  Buying maternity clothes is bad enough- buying plus sized maternity clothes is even worse!  Harder to find, etc.  Oh well.  I think I'll have to bite the bullet and pick up a few pairs of pants and jeans.

I do feel better now, though!  Thanks ladies!

I'm sitting here in a maternity skirt that I got on Wednesday. It's just more comfortable than my non-stretchy skirts.

I am avoiding it till the word is out.... Not ready for that step yet!!!

Wear what makes you comfortable.  Doesn't matter if it's maternity or not.  If it fits, is comfy, and you like it, wear it.

I'm a skirts and leggings kind of person and mine are all still fine.  I have heavier layers for winter.  Jeans are not comfortable right now, so I'm just not wearing them.

I may have to pick up maternity shirts soon, mostly for extra boob space.  Of course, I often wear maternity knit shirts while *not* pregnant, just for the aforementioned extra boob space.

I'm in maternity at 6.5 weeks, 3rd baby.  Resistance is futile.

I agree.  I had a prenatal appointment today, and complained to DH the whole way there about my jeans.  And, as if I wasn't already overweight already, I gained 2 pounds in a week!!  Oh, well, maternity shopping here I come.

7 weeks, 2 days, I was busting out of my jeans.  I have a pair that are lower and they fit fine.  I'm bloated as all get out and look 16 weeks PG.  In fact, a friend of mine is 18 weeks with her 2nd and I'm pretty sure I'm bigger than her.  I felt so conscious at church yesterday...like everyone was wondering that I'm pregnant or just put on a lot of weight.  My maternity pants won't fit yet.  I'm not sure how I feel about bella band...seems more annoying than helpful.  Anyone else feel that way??

I loved my bella bands last time around.  They helped keep my pants up (I dont' like full belly panel pants) and then I wore them (under my pants) for four years post-partum to (a) hide my sidefat while nursing and (b) keep the nickel bits on my jeans from irritating my skin.

I tried to wear maternity pants yesterday and almost gave myself heatstroke. I don't know what I'm going to wear for the next 7 months. I hate clothes. Maybe my boss will approve me wearing pjs to work.
