Pattern for fleece covers with applix closure?

I want to make fleece covers for my toddler.  I have found a couple patterns for pull on covers, but not closures.  I have mostly prefolds and hate snappis, so I'm hoping for a design that would allow for just using a prefold folded inside the cover.

Also, can I use 100% cotton fleece?  I hate polyester, and don't want to mess with washing wool separately.

What you're looking for is a wrap-style cover.  You can find some patterns out there, or you can just take a fitted diaper pattern, add a little bit extra "ease" through the crotch, and go with that. 

And no, you can't use cotton fleece.  Poly fleece and cotton fleece are completely different things.  Cotton fleece will absorb - it's good as a diaper fabric but will not work for a cover.  Poly fleece will not absorb, so doesn't work well as a diaper fabric, but is a good cover.
