I'm almost two months pregnant, but I'm already showing. Not the "Oh, no one else can tell" kind. People notice. Old ladies at the store look at my bump and smile and nod. Nobody's touched my stomach, but they stare. It's nice, but I'm already having to narrow my wardrobe and am looking at maternity clothes. I am seriously getting big. Has anyone else shown this early? What would cause it besides bloating (I don't feel that bloated)? Twins don't run in my family, but I suppose anything's possible. I've miscarried twice, both at around this time. The first time I wasn't showing at all, the second I was a little, but not enough for people to notice. I'm not super skinny, but definitely not heavy. 5'8" at around 155 lbs. Narrow hips, Anyone who knows what I'm going through or has advice or answers will be appreciated. Thanks!!

Here's a link to how I look right now: http://www.flickr.com/photos/64769915@N08/6293166475/in/photostream

Oh my gosh, I just went to to the bathroom (I do that often now.) and had very light pink on my toilet paper. Almost unnoticeable. Should I be scared? I've been cramping throughout the past 3 or so weeks (never too bad), and I was cramping before I went to the bathroom (but what felt like gas, also common with me now.). Please give me advice on both things???? Thanks!

I've had two miscarriages myself. I  kept thinking something was wrong after these miscarriages, as we all do. At the beginning of my pregnancy I was seeing an OBGYN who reluctantly ordered a Thrombophilia panel of blood tests on me (they usually don't order this test until you have had three miscarriages!). Thanks goodness she did.

We found out that I have Thrombophilia, meaning that I am more prone to blood clots but for me, only during pregnancy.  My miscarriages all happened around the 9wk mark and the baby stopped growing after six. The problem was that my blood to the fetus was clotting, keeping the baby from growing. I saw a fetal medicine doctor who gave me three options. One: do nothing and continue with the pregnancy as is. Two: start on a baby aspirin once a day to help thin the blood. Three: start on a baby aspirin and a low dose daily injection of blood thinners. I opted for option three.

Now this doesn't meant that my pregnancy since I started this treatment has been perfect. I have had two scares with spotting. But thankfully things are ok and my pregnancy is progressing normally, I am 16 wks and the baby is moving! So. With that said you should call your birth professional and tell them about the spotting, they usually always want to know. And try to remain calm. You don't know what is going on. It may be nothing. But after having two miscarriages, I recommend that you should ask about this test.

Goodluck and I hope that was helpful. Feel free to PM if you need to.

Have you been to the Dr yet?

I haven't been able to get into the doctor's yet. I've called, but they don't seem to be in a hurry to get me in.

After this long could it have been chemical? Would I have grown so much just thinking everything was okay and "tricked" myself?

Usually chemical pregnancies end by six weeks, if I remember right. Light pink spotting can be from a few things. Constipation, sex, implantation, etc. Have you called to tell them you're spotting? Usually they're more accommodating and will get you in earlier if there is a concern. I show like that too, though. I'm 21 weeks and just about as big as my cousin is with her first, and she's 38 weeks. It is kind of ridiculous, but I've always ended up with maternity pants really early.

Well, a little over a month ago, I had either a short, light period or spotting. It got heavier than what I thought spotting was supposed to be, but I took a test anyway and got either an evap or a faint positive (about a week after the spotting, and was thick and blue so my assumption this was that it was right). I didn't really have a lot of symptoms until the past week and a half or so, and I've been nauseous, weepy, exhausted, and crampy. Now I'm spotting again, but this time it's more like what I've heard spotting should be (light colored, sparse). Could my bump just be major bloating? Was the test I took a negative and I'm just now pregnant, maybe? I'm so confused. Should I just see if my period shows and if not, take another test? What could cause this? Was I wrong about being pregnant? Oh, goodness, I'm just lost. I've heard once you "know" you're pregnant, sometimes your body starts to look that way rather fast. Is that true? Could my bump have been a lie?

Many women don't get recognizable symptoms until around 6 weeks, so the timing doesn't sound off. Usually it is bloating that early, though. The uterus is still pretty small at that point, but your intestines slow down and things get really bloated.

Okay. I'm just going to try to get into the doctor's ASAP. Thanks!
