DH and I are really at odds over exposing our 10 month old to TV. DH watches 4-5 hours of TV a day (more on weekends and during football season) so it's hard to avoid. One of the things that worries me is that he has a HUGE television and there's no way not to see it when it's on. We had a disagreement this morning when I went and stood in between DD and the TV and started showing her a book to distract her. He thinks I'm overreacting. Maybe I am, but I hate, hate, hate it when I see DD staring slack jawed at a commercial.
Does anybody know if the size of the screen makes any difference on the impact that TV images have on babies?
