Our family is relocating and I have a few PUS births that I need to have before I'm able to submit my PEP portfolio. Because of transfers and other circumstances it doesn't look as though I'll attend enough births before having to move. I am considering an in-country clinical site, but with the closing of Casa, I'm sort of at a loss for options.
I am familiar with Better Birth in Utah. They have primary spaces available in 2012. They require that everyone attend or have attended an "in person" doula training. I trained with Childbirth International years ago and currently run my own doula training program. If I have to seek out and then attend an in person doula training I'll be incurring expenses that I feel are completely unnecessary (especially since I am near the very end of my primary births).
So, I'm seeking alternatives and having difficulty. The NARM website only lists their approved OOC clinical sites so I'm hoping that some of you have heard of others.
Thank you in advance.
