Prenatals...am I asking too much?

Hello ladies.  I'm looking for a (preferably food based) prenatal that has little or no iron, and also doesn't break the bank.  Anyone know a good brand, or have other suggestions?  TIA!

I haven't found anything like that. Prenatals seems to be defined as including tons of iron. I know some people take 2 Flintstones instead of prenatals.

I suggest finding a brand you like and taking their woman's multi instead of a prenatal.  I have taken Shaklee in the past ( a little $$) and currently I am taking Rainbow Light Woman's.  If you want to up the folic acid you could then just add a folic acid supplement.

I'm sure it has iron - but I like the Trader Joe's prenatals and they aren't too expensive.

I am not pregnant but I am taking vitamins for my hopefully-upcoming pregnancy. This would be my third pregnancy and I am opting for the flinstones this time. Of course I stupidly bought the ones that say "+iron"....DOH!!!! I like the chewables because morning sickness makes me gag on regular pills. I also have a hard time digesting milk so I am taking some calcium softchews too.

Thanks for the input, ladies!  Yeah, I have not had good luck with vitamins containing iron.  With my last pregnancy, after trying New Chapter and Rainbow light,  I was started taking Juice Plus (which, credible or not, is way too expensive for me right now).  Anyway, it didn't contain iron and that was alot better.  So, while I was at the store getting ready to buy the flinstones vitamins, I found Vitafusion Prenatals (gummies with DHA and folic acid- no iron!)  I'm not sure how high-quality they are, but figured they were probably at least as good as the flinstones, right?  Anyway, Target carries a store brand, and they fit the bill on all accounts right now.

PS- I just had one of those O.M.G, I-can't-believe-I'm-having-a-baby-again moments.  In a good way.  :)
