We are on the search for a really cool family or couple (or an AMAZINGLY rad individual) to occupy a beautiful cob structure (one spacious room, sleeping loft, kitchenette, and awesome wood stove arrangement) and be part of an intentional communal lifestyle. Indoor plumbing (nice modern home with bathrooms, tubs and showers, open kitchen, etc), community living spaces that are family-oriented (play areas, computer setups, etc), and a small library of books await you.... as do this beautiful land! 

Come join us in our planning phases of our permacutlure projects. Interested in gardening? Chickens? 

We are a small community living "Rainbow Family -style". Our decisions are centered around enhancing and supporting the children and family energy, though we hold no formula for what a family looks like. All compositions of gender, age, orientation, experience, and style are curiously embraced as long as the focus is on living happy, joyous, free... Sustainability, creativity, and unlimited possibilities are a cornerstone of our goals, and interests include topics around consensual living, intuitive tribalism, organic foods, natural family life, primal skillshare, and blending technology and conventional lifestyles with the radical.

Oh my gosh, I was just signing in to ask if there were any cool intentional communities / things like this in this area.  I am not quite ready to move yet or I'd be all over this but its so nice to know things like this exist.  I am looking to go to grad school in Eugene in 2013. (Yes I know that is a long ways away yet...) You give me hope for when I do move...
