Toddlerhawk

hi

I have used a babyhawk mei tei w- 19 month old ds since he could fit comfortable in one. I love it! I do a tie with it where the bigger straps wrap around twice- I think it is the basic tie- and when i try to just wrap it around once it doesn;t feel like it supports my body to carry his weight enough. so now he is just getting to big for it. we can still use it but barely- and w- cold weather and more layers coming we need something bigger.

I know babyhawk makes a toddler hawk but they seem to be out of them on their website and i can't really find info on them.

Anyone here use a toddlerhawk? What exactly is bigger on it than the baby hawk? and to how many pounds can you comfortable carry your toddler in it? We actually still like to do the front carry and ds is 26 pounds.

anyone know where to purchase a toddlerhawk online?

I just bought a Toddlerhawk for my son who is almost 16 months and is 83cm and almost 13kg - he's around 90th percentile for his age, so is probably more the size of an average 2 year old, at least. I absolutely love it. My son prefers front carries still and I can do this effortlessly in the Toddlerhawk. I find the straps are much more comfortable for me than many other mei tais. I actually ordered one from BabyHawk but then regretfully noticed that TheBabyWearer has several advertised on their FSOT forum for a good second hand price.
