Morning sickness poll? - Page 2

Mine gets progressively worse as the day goes along and it's the worst in late afternoon/early evening. I feel better if I eat, but I can't keep eating all day long! I can't really remember if it was worse during my first pregnancy, though I remember feeling nauseous all day long. I'm doing B6 but it doesn't really seem to be helping...

i feel kind of weird for most of the day. when i wake up, im HUNGRY right away but the only thing i can think of eating is plain cereal and milk. i do manage to pack a lunch for work with a sandwich or leftovers even though those things seem awful to me in the morning. i feel ok after breakfast and until i eat lunch. the lunch is always agreeable, but i feel nauseous afterwards. i feel ok again by dinner, but am picky about what to eat. feel a bit sick after, but fine by bed time.

i find my food preferences and aversions rather fascinating :)

For those who are taking B6-- how many mg?

I take 50 mg each night with half a Unisom.  Good luck!  -thecountrymouse

I have 100mg pills and I've been taking one in the morning and one at night.

I just asked the pharmacist this last night- I was debating between 250mg or 100mg, but he said I wanted just 50mg. Enough to mellow things out and take the edge off.

These amounts-- I'm assuming you aren't including any mg that would be in prenatal vitamins you might be taking as well?

I'm not taking a prenatal right now and I also stopped taking my B-Multivitamin at the moment.  I looked for 50mg pills and couldn't find them.  I might start cutting them in half, I did that last pregnancy.

No prenatals for me, just the B6.  I can't even imagine taking prenatals right now.  I was taking folic acid and prenatals since March so I feel ok about it.

i went out and got some b6 to help with the ms but it made it worse. :(
