Evening Gown for Pregnant Belly? Help!

Ok, everyone...I have a gala to go to (black tie event). Where the heck do I get an evening gown for a pregnant belly!? I'm not looking to break the bank and I need to be able to try it on first.

THANKS!

I'm guessing A Pea in the Pod will be your best and easiest to locate bet, depending on your budget. http://www.apeainthepod.com/maternity/dresses-evening-dresses.asp

Even their "evening dresses" don't have a lot of full-length gown options that would be appropriate for a true black tie event. Hmmm. I may call Bloomingdales and Nordstrom's and ask to speak with a personal shopper, then ask the question of that person. They are used to handling specific requests.

You can rent maternity wear now. I'd check your local area for dress rental, and there are several shops online that do rentals as well. Check out Mine for Nine. They have formal wear at pretty reasonable prices compared to buying.

Not sure how big you are to start with but I had luck with plus sized shops. I found a dress this summer that was formal that was gathered at the neck with some beading (think Wilma Flintstone) & then went out from there - not super shapely but allowed room for belly growth.
