Public Symphysis Diastasis?

Does anyone have experience with Pubic Symphysis Diastasis?  This is my 3rd pregnancy and had major pain in my pelvis w/my 2nd.  I went to a chiro after delivery when the pain got worse as I became more active.  I still have regular appointments and they help but I've noticed some of the same sensations as before in the last couple of days- burning in the pubic bone and lower back pain as well as A LOT of pressure on my pelvic floor and vulvar varicosities that extend into my calf.  It doesn't take much for the pain to start.  It could just be lifting my tote bag, coughing/sneezing, or walking.  

 

Has anyone tried one of those pregnancy support belts?  Have they worked?  They all look like something out of a sci-fi movie.  Has anything else worked?  I'm only 17 weeks and am worried about dealing with this for the 2nd half of the pregnancy.

I haven't had to endure this particular pain of pregnancy but I do have a pregnancy support belt that I'd be happy to pass along for the cost of shipping..... can I mention this in public?

 

 

It's for a more slender frame. It was my cousins, she lent it to me, has no use for it anymore, and said that I was welcome to do with it what I please.

Me.  My first and second were fine...I ran and lifted weights until I delivered.   Number 3, by 20 weeks I hurt so bad I never thought I would make the second half the pregnancy.  Chiropractic helped some but not great.  I am almost 16 weeks now with number 4 (due April 29) and am getting the twinges.  I wish I could tell you a good fix, but I don't have one.  I used a support belt at the end of number 3 and it did help some.  Not a ton.  One thing I did that helped some last time was yoga, which normally, I admit I am not a lover of (I am an avid weight lifter).  But the chiro I saw told me that the pain is often caused no just by the loosening and separation of the pubic bone, but then it shifts and the 2 sides of the pubic bone (and sacrum) become uneven.  That causes the pain.  That is just what he said, but I did find the combo of yoga for alignment, and chrio, helped.
