Fears and anxiety are a very normal stage of toddler development, as they become more aware of the world around them and it's dangers, or presumed dangers, and possible threats to their survival. My dd hated the tub until one night I threw a bunch of those neon glo sticks in there and turned the lights off. I couldn't get her out:) We do that alot now, it's so fun for her.

DD2 went through that, I just got in the tub with her and she was fine.  It took awhile but she eventually got over it.  Gotta be gentle with the littles and their anxieties.
