Has anyone used a neti pot on a 2 yr old?

It looks like my poor DS has inherited my bad sinuses. It looks like his sniffles has possibly turned into a sinus infection. I know the neti pot works wonders for me, but I think he might be too young to try it on. Has anyone tried this or are there other remedies I should try?

Im interested in this too. DD had a cold a few weeks ago and could only breath through her mouth and DH suggested a neti pot but I was afraid it would be awful for her (I cant do it myself).

Ok, so I got up the courage to try it out last night with DS and he did just fine with it. I had him lean over the edge of the bathtub and he was really good about keeping his head down for me. I went really slow and he handled it well.

Since your DD is a little younger I would maybe have your DH help you in case she's gets wriggly. Just go really slow and see how she reacts to the feeling of the water.

I used one last winter with my DD.  She would have been anywhere from 2-2.5 and didn't have any problems with it.
