Dh picked up a part time job for the holidays. He came home this morning and told me they would need him to get a "Health Card" (the job is in Clark County, NV) and you have to get a Hep A vaccine and TB Test for the card. Our family has wicked bad luck when it comes to weird reactions to immunizations, or catching "immune preventable" illnesses from the recently immunized....so he asked me to do some research before he agrees to it.

I am just coming here to consult with the better informed to be sure I have everything straight.
Â
HEP A
If I understand correctly, this is not a live virus, so no one should be at risk for catching it from dh. The only risk is him reacting to it, and most reactions are like a mild flu.Â
Â
TB TestÂ
This just has proteins, not a full virus, so no one should be at risk for catching it from dh. Assuming it's negative (which it should be), the only "risk" I've found is that the test can give false negatives because it's not sensitive enough to TB.

Did I miss anything I ought to be considering?
