I'm so excited to have found these forums! It seems like all of the others I've found are full of chatspeak and people discussing things about how awesome gummy vitamins are. Goodness.

1. Due date: July 10

2. This will be my first, though I have had two miscarriages this year.

3. I have a wonderful team of midwives. I plan to do an all-natural water birth in the birthing center at the local women's hospital

4. I'm an American living in Canada. I'm 35, my partner 36, currently parents to 3 kitties.

Due July 18, 2012- but my last little was 15 days late so I am trying to expect anytime between then and early August.

I have a 5 1/2 year old DS and a 2 1/2 year DS.  I had a miscarriage at 10 1/2 weeks in between those two and have since always had a hard time grappling with early pregnancy.  I have been really on edge!

We plan to have another home birth, our second, my first was natural In the hospital.  We love our midwife and doula and can only hope this birth goes as smoothly as the last (only 4 hours and my midwife was only here for 15 minutes before he was born!).

And my something "unknown" is two somethings- we homeschool AND we are moving to a small farm in mid-April!  Oh, and three- it sounds like my husband is going to be working out of town about 90% of the time starting in May for a year and a half and might even miss the birth!  Crazy!!!

Glad to be here!  We've been trying for a year and a half!

Not 100% sure but I THINK if you pm cynthia mosher (you find her name on the "started this group" list) you have a chance of getting it done or finding out who to have do it.

I just joined the group, nice to meet you all! :)

I'm due July 10, by my calculations.

This will be our second child - DS is 2.

Hope to have a CNM attended birth in a hospital - just like last time, but we're in a different city, so different hospital.

I usually love to cook & bake, but am looking at food very differently lately due to constant nausea - yuck. Hoping to feel better once 2nd trimester gets here!

Hi everyone, good to find you!

  1. Due date – July 23 2012
  2. Will be the first
  3. Hospital delivery
  4. My hubby has started nesting (?!?) Chap Lysolled the entire kitchen the other day. And we aren’t clean freaks by any stretch of the imagination, so this is getting increasingly weird.

Welcome everyone!

Due Date - Mid July.  Probably around the 25th or so.

Baby number and ages - This is baby #3.  I have a boy 7 and a girl 3.  Both were home births.

Scheduled birth plan - home birth, of course- but it's starting to get difficult.  I need to find another midwife - and I am too hormonal for the process - I think.  I'm very emotional.

Something to know about me - I'm an LDS home schooling Mom.  :).  I try to live the gospel as much as I can - and when i don't, I get up and try again.  I'm a first generation stay at homer.  I cloth diapered my second (notice not saying third).  I'm a pioneer in many ways - and sometimes it's scary.

Lisarenee- Looks like we have approximately the same due date (since you aren't sure). Since we had IVF it's a little clearer that I'm due the 25th. Welcome, EDD buddy!

AWESOME!

Hi everyone!

1. Due 7/23 approximately

2. 1 son, 23 months old

3. Homebirthing this time around, after a hospital birth with my son.

4. I'm completely surprised by how different things seem to be this time around. Last time I had zero nausea, just some light-headedness, no appetite most days, and wicked heartburn. Oh, and I slept a lot. This time-- I'm nauseous all night long, but my appetite is only slightly decreased, and headaches are driving me nuts. Not extra tired, and thank goodness no heartburn yet! I'm surprised by how sloooowly things are going too. I was sure that the time would fly by this time around but it seems to be dragging on...maybe because we haven't announced yet and I'm anxious to tell people, maybe because I'd already had a million appointments scheduled at this point this time last time and because we're homebirthing this time I'm adjusting to the more laid back approach of my MW.

Hi everybody-  I've been hesitant to join in because it's so dang early for me, but here goes!

1. Due date-  July 28

2. This will be baby #2.  I have a 3 year old son who is the light of my life.

3. Current birth plans- Hospital with a midwife (if I don't risk out into the OB side of the practice first)

4. One interesting thing we might now know about you!  I had a very tough pregnancy with my son.  I had hyperemesis gravidarum, blood clot issues, premature labor... it was tough.  Nine months of tough.  It was terrifying to think about going through this again for #2, and I probably would have kept putting it off if I wasn't pushing 40.  Which I am, so here I am.

And I'm starting to get sick again and the unrelenting nausea is coming back again.  Ummmm..... craaaaap.  help.gif

So Im just checking in and probably won't be around too much- if this sick is like the last sick then it will be too tough to get online.  But I wish H&H pregnancies to all!
