I am looking for a better option then the regular public school for my 14 year old. They are failing her miserably. I live in Ayer which is between Concord and Leominster.

I am sorry to hear that. I had some very experience with school systems during my high school years. I ended up changing high school three times, I started at a private school for learning disabilities, then public and finally graduate from a vocational school. Although I am not sure it is what you looking for vocational school can be a good option and what people don't tell you is that you can get in to one out of the out of distract school if there is a shop(vocation) that she is interested in and it not offered at the school you are in district for. Is she is a public school? What type of alternative school are you looking for? I hear some good things at the Waldorf high school in Belmont but that might be to far. Good luck, hope you find a great school for her.
