reading recommendations please!

I have a very good friend who is going thru a divorce and has moved back home to a family that is not at all a match for her AP lifestyle. She is in need of some good support and maybe some good advice. I am wondering if you guys can recommend any really good books on surviving a divorce and single motherhood. I would like to send her something AP friendly about being a single mom. Thanks ahead for any recommendations.

the only 'single parent' book i read was 'the courge to be a single mother' and it was helpful. not exactly AP, but deffinately about the kids being important. and just as important, abotu the mom being important.

It isn't strictly for the single mum or strictly AP, but I really find the book "Breeder" empowering. I like to read it lots I have found that different stories have spoken to me at different times in my life.
