copper and silver as a cleaner? help me make it!

i read this article :http://www.naturalnews.com/033398_superbugs_copper.html and another about superbugs in hospitals. 

i will be having a natural hospital birth (no chance of a home birth)  and will be cleaning the room when i get there.  

any tips on how to make a silver or copper cleaner? can i use them together???
