Anyone using any of the pregnancy apps for smartphones?

Just curious.  I downloaded a bunch of the free ones for fun.  I like the little illustrations that show what the baby is doing week by week and such.  I doubt I'll upgrade any to the paid versions though, because  wow, they are all VERY geared toward FTMs.  Which is fine for the FTMs.  But this is my 4th baby and I have pretty good idea of how to pack for the hospital or what I need on hand for a newborn or how to time a contraction :lol

I had to laugh at one little blurb today that said, "If you are feeling emotional, take a warm bath, watch a funny movie, or go for a walk."  Ooookay, I'll get right on that.  Let's see, if I take a bath, my kids will (a) desperately need me right. this. moment or (b) want to join me.  If I put on a movie of my choice, my kids will bug me about why can't they use the TV to watch something or play the Wii.  And if we go for a walk (which we probably should do just so I can get some exercise), it won't be leisurely, I can tell you that.  It will either involve nearly running after my 3 yo or pulling her in the wagon or some combination of both :D

I've got 'em too! I like the pictures, how big the baby is getting... and other things make me laugh! I have "Happy Pregnancy" and "Pregnancy Assistant" - both free. Pregnancy Assistant I had for DS and the pictures are 3D or look pretty real!

Hah. Yes, take a bath, take a nap, take a quiet walk to reflect... what mom doesn't haven't time to do that all day?! biggrinbounce.gif

I have the one from Babycenter--glad you don't actually have to register with Babycenter for it. With my 2nd, the *only* place I did that was babycenter--at the VERY beginning, to calculate my edd. We had a homebirth and hadn't even sent in the paperwork yet (so technically, he didn't "exist" to any institution), but we still received a formula sample 2 days after his birth, which was his due date. UGH!

Yes I have babybump, sprout lite, and pregnancy companion!  I love the illustrations but I do agree that most are geared towards FTM,s!

DeepLove, I just noticed you're from Missouri--whereabouts? I'm originally from near StL, but now live in KC (with a stop in Columbia in there for college).

I use iPregnancy... the namefinder is how we named our last child :)  I don't like the weight tracker though.  Seems to focus a lot on that.

I'm actually from Ste Genevieve, but have friends all over the StL area (though most of them are concentrated in south county 'burbs).
