hello and maybe you can help

I have been single for a long time and abstaining for years. My fertility came back when baby was 2.7 yo and it was like I was in heat. I found a willing partner in a young man (31 o lala) I recently met. the first time we used a condom, but I dislike them so much. We dtd again today and I assumed he would use POM but he didn't eyesroll.gif and now I am a little terrified. I am too old (41). I am on food stamps and housing. Short of the morning after pill are there any suggestions? what sort of herbs can I use? my nearly 3 yo is still nursing, though I don't produce much so anything I take has to be safe. I was just so tired of not being held, if he had PO it would be fine I am sure. I am in day 22 of this month and had the egg yolk like thing on the 3rd, so I think that is when I ovulated but when I did a ovulation calculator it showed today and many more after it as possible dates. I take heart in the fact that with my 2 girls I absolutely knew I had conceived, it was like I felt it... but I am just so nervous and not comfortable talking about this anywhere. I am going to go check all my dates again and hope ppl are still here, I haven't been in a while myself.... redface.gif

In regards to your question about herbal remedies...I'd take a look at Susan Weeds website/forum. I've taken some of her advice on prenatal care before, and I know that there was definitely a bit of information on herbal substitutes for the morning after...along with very precise instructions, ect...

You could also try getting hold of a copy of her book The childbearing Year because I think there's some recipes in there as well. Although I'm sure that quicker action is better than waiting...

Hugs!
