Fluff thread - when babe loves solids

Lo seems to really dig solids!
I am giving him breakfast now, will add lunch next week.
We had friends over yesterday and lo got fussy over a spoon his older friend was using. I didn't think it was because he wanted to eat (he's only eaten a few times) but the other Mom suggested he might want something and he attacked some applesauce.

Amazing! Have you any stories of kids just Chowing down?

My DD loves food. My mother once gave her a piece of roast chicken, and DD started to applaud!!

oh, yes! DS (7mo) will eat anything we give him! we started him around 5.5mo (24weeks) and he's loved it all from day one! we started with BLW but he prefered to be spoon-fed for a few weeks before he mastered his pincer grasp. he is a chow hound! and he still nurses like a champ!

Yep. My nine-month-old loves food and would eat even more if I let him but I'm nervous about early weaning and he's 23 pounds so he's clearly getting everything he needs. Last night at dinner he ate whole wheat pasta, sauteed mushrooms and ground beef and about half a mandarin orange, cried for more AND nursed right after.
