I'm taking Rainbow Light Prenatal One, so it's a single pill (it's a big one) once a day.  It has digestive enzymes, red raspberry extract, and ginger extract to calm the tummy.  I got it at WF.  Rainbow Light has another one also, but I was specifically looking for 1 pill/day.

LOL just reading about that snack kind of makes my stomach turn! I have no idea what it might mean. Your body wants a little more crazy variety?? Of course, I've been known to do weird things too. The other day I ate 1/2 a jar of green olives. I just kept popping them in my mouth like grapes. I like olives in martinis, on pizza, and in salad, but eating that many just as a snack certainly goes in the weird category!

Also, mamas, this pregnancy is making me do weird things. I've been feeling so much more...disgusting this time around. I haven't had an appetite in days, then last night around 9 I found myself piling on homemade pickled red onions onto a baguette, then piling on some pinquito beans, then topping with raw onions and cilantro, then drizzled vinegar on top. I MEAN, WHAT IS THAT? That is disgusting. I hate onions! I haven't eaten a bite of raw onion in, basically, ever. I've always thought that the occasional food craving was my body's way of telling me I needed a particular kind of nutrient or something, but what on earth does that disgusting sandwich mean?

I did the same thing with kalamata olives last week.  I love those things, but usually I at least eat them with hummus and pita.

Name:  Sarah

Weeks/Days along: 15w1d

Appointments: Nov. 30th

Symptoms:  Boobs are still sore.  The nausea/upset stomach feeling is going away...slowly.  I'm super duper emotional and grouchy, and have zero patience.  Sunday night I was trying to take a picture of the dog (who is almost impossible to photograph).  She was actually sitting still and the stupid camera wouldn't work.  I tried about 5x before I practically threw the camera down and said, "F***!!"  SO and DD just looked at me, in shock (I'm not a cusser).  I got so embarrassed that I went to my room and cried.  Then I started laughing at how ridiculous I was being.  Then I was crying again...  I am a mess!  The next few months should be quite interesting!

Food:  Pretty much anything sounds good, but only certain things taste good.  If that makes sense.  I'm craving salty foods though.  And sweets leave a weird after taste in my mouth.  :(

Exercise:  Just walking

Body changes and other milestones:  My belly is getting bigger...and my areolae are HUGE.

Thoughts:  I'm really excited to get an u/s.  I think we're going to schedule it for the week after next.  I would do it next week, but with Thanksgiving I think we'll just wait.

I'm curious cause of last weeks "If you feel pretty its a boy, if you don't its a girl" old wives tale some one shared. I felt like crap and ugly and awful my last pregnancies and this pregnancy I don't feel so dog awful ugly. I suspect boy this time, I have only girls...How did you feel your last pregnancies? Prettier than this one?

I actually felt pretty good with my boy pregnancies. I had a little bit of acne and kind of "blah" feeling at the beginning but no where near how I've been feeling this time. This time I just find myself completely revolting. :)

I think I felt ugly with both of my other two.... Well, felt- grouchy, zero libido, poofy... but I had really great hair (shiny, soft, thick), my leg and armpit hair grew hardly at all, and my acne cleared up. I have a boy and a girl, so that doesn't make much sense.

This time I'm emotional instead of grouchy, still losing as much hair as I normally do, leg and armpit hair growing normally, very high libido, and I've got acne. I'm mystified.

I don't post in here much... it feels kinda weird, but I have nothing positive or negative to say really. Nothing much is happening. I feel mostly normal. No appointments upcoming, nothing major going on in my life.

My DD is turning three soon (egads!) so I'm hand-making her a few little gifts and we're doing a party the week before her birthday with grandma, aunts, cousins, etc. and then we'll just do a little at-home thing on her actual birthday.

I don't fit into ANY of my normal jeans now. The only ones i fit into are the fat pants that I saved for things like painting- with holes in the knees and paint across the butt. Which I've been wearing to work. I have a friend in the states who said she'd mail me some of her maternity clothes, but they haven't shipped yet.... Going to go somewhere tomorrow (consignment maternity shop, I think) to pick up a few things. I also REALLY want a pair of leggings. I tried them on weeks ago and they felt like I was wearing underwear, but under a dress or skirt I think it'd be nice. I just also need nicer shoes to go with them :/ All I have is my beat up runners and my walkin' the dog giant winter boots.

Oof.  Rough morning, but I'm better now.  All kids grumpy and not listening, somewhere to be, no carseats in the van, pouring down rain, van stuck in the mud.  ARG.  Dh came home and pulled it out with his truck.  All the kids are napping.  I finally ate breakfast.  He was really nice and hung out and let me talk a while.  After a quite hour, I'm ready to face my life again.  And, woohoo...going to the chiropractor tonight.  REALLY looking forward to that.

Weeks: almost 14

Appts: still trying to decide what to do.  probably just going to go with my midwife from last time.  still thinking about a hospital/uc combo, but...sigh.  i hate this.

Symptoms: nah.  feel pretty good.  i'm pretty mouthy though, and intense.

Food: light foods, easy to prepare, not much sugar, not much flavor

Exercise: i'd love to.  it gets dark before dh gets home so i can't walk the dog, and we've just been making it through the last little bit.  this really, really has to become a priority, though

Changes: pants are getting tighter, fundus is at or above my belly button first thing in the morning

Thoughts: been wondering a lot about RRL tea.  I drank celestial seasonings red raspberry zinger (which does contain leaves) during my last 3 pregnancies.  I know it has significantly less than RRL tea does, but I still think maybe it helped?  I drank tons and tons of it.  Several gallons a week in the last month or two.  Anyway, just curious how much rrl is actually has in it, and about how the quantities i drank compare.

Oh, and I take rainbow light one a day, too.  They are pretty good, but on an empty stomach can make me feel a bit sick.  I do notice a significant improvement in how I feel when I take them, though.

Name: Sky

Weeks/Days along: 13 weeks

Appointments: Just had the NT scan and U/S last week all was great and baby measured right on!

Symptoms: The first 8 weeks I felt very nauseous but never vomited. That feeling has subsided some but I still feel that way sometimes.

Food: Been craving chocolate, but eating well

Exercise: Before I was preg I was at the gym 4-5 days a week for 1 to 1.5 hrs. I always loose weight when I'm preg so I lessen my workouts now to 3 days a week about 30 min each time.

Body changes and other milestones: I have lost 11 lbs in the first trimester I'm a size 4. With my DD and DS I lost about 25 lbs in the first trimester but I was a size 7/8 with them Doc says all is great this is how I carry so no issues :)

Thoughts: So happy and blessed to be here with this LO we lost 2 after our having DD and DS last fall so this is our God sent rainbow babyjoy.gif

Glad I'm not the only one diving into the jar of green olives!! I'm on my second jar in two weeks. :-)

I dunno what your cravings mean, but that sandwich sounds pretty good to me too!  I've had an irresistible urge for lemon juice, straight from the lemon for the last two days!  I drank  the juice of 2 1/2 lemons yesterday.

Just got back from our NTT, and everything looks good!!  Which is a good thing, since this morning DS' assessment came back with an autism diagnosis.

I have pretty bad nausea and some killer food aversions right now, but somehow I was able to eat an entire jar of garlic stuffed olives in one sitting one day. How the heck does that work? How does one eat that when lettuce makes them want to puke? Makes no sense at all, but I did it, and it was good. Of course, thinking about it today makes me queasy - different day, different cravings and aversions. Weird.

Good news mixed with some difficult news. Hopefully your son's diagnosis will allow you to move forward with whatever treatment he needs. My older daughter is on the spectrum also. Remember to take care of yourself, too. Raising kids on the spectrum can be very, very difficult.

Hugs Cristeen - It can be so very difficult.  www.autismspeaks.org/docs/family_services_docs/100_day_kit.pdf   This pdf was so helpful to my husband and I. We have had our diagnosis for a while and it is just now dh and I are really understanding and accepting. I also really recommend this book called "Be Different". It is wrote by a guy with aspergers who has become quite successful. Gives some helpful hints with learning.

There is a lot of joy in this journey (((Hugs)))

I had my mw apt. yesterday :) First one and I got to hear the heartbeat for 30 seconds or so. I got that the mw isn't all that comfy using a doppler long term. I understand that and respect it. HB was 156 :) For the first time I thought "maybe this one is a girl too" and I started to get excited. I don't know why, I've been so sure it has been a boy this entire pregnancy. Now I can not wait - 13 more days until the ultrasound!!

I had the weirdest dream last night. I dreamed I had my baby and it was a girl, but she was so tiny and sickly :( I tried bf'ing her and she just kind of gave a half hearted latch and I discovered she was very feverish.

Very odd dream.

2 more dentist apts and I am done, done, done.

Well, I just typed up a long post, but the web ate it.  Sigh.  So...

Cristeen, I'm thinking and praying for you and your family.

Everybody else...I had lots to say, but mostly...that nasty sandwich needs probiotics, and onemore...i'm jealous you are about done with the dentist, and yeah for maybe baby girls.  That dream...just your mind working out fears.  Don't stress it. :)

As for me...what's with dd and her refusal to sleep.  Blah!  And maybe I found a midwife, but she costs $4000.  That's the highest I've heard.  Oof.

Weeks/Days along: I'm about 15 weeks... whoah!

Appointments: I have one tomorrow with my new MW group and then next week I meet one of the new midwives (tomorrow is just like an intake/history/scheduling thingy)

Symptoms: Feeling good, had some weird stomach pains, not all that hungry... but feeling pretty good!

Food: Pasta with veggie meatballs just tasted good for dinner... one meal at a time.  I haven't been that hungry lately...

Exercise: I should do more!  It is cold and wet wet wet.  I wish I had a stationary bike.... might have to try to score an old one off CL or good will....

Body changes and other milestones: my belly is B I G.  people are staring at it.  But no one has asked yet....

Thoughts: I've been so busy lately.  Between work, my toddler who is a wild man these days, all the appts. for kids, etc. I feel crazy.  Looking forward to some R and R next week. DH has the whole week off, he has some stuff to do for school, but will otherwise be home.  So it should be a nice relaxing week.  I might take some time off, too... but have a big new project coming online Dec 1, so we shall see how much work I can really take off............

I'm enjoying reading everyone's past and welcome new mamas!

I am so hungry. :( They had to do another dang extraction yesterday. My teeth couldn't have went south when DH had a job with dental benefits. So two more appointments now. Partials are going to  be 2800 and I found out the midwife is 3500 - not 2500. ouch. I pray that insurance will pick up the midwife.

I am making some pasta now, but I really want some french onion sunchips and salad. Got to keep eating the soft foods. *sigh*

Ok, I'll be over here in the corner gumming my soft foods if any one wants to join my pity party. LOL

In reality, I'm blessed my teeth got taken care of before they got painful. A lot of people out there have severe pain and no hopes of getting them done.

Rolled over too quick on the loveseat last night and felt a really sharp 'pull' in the uterine area, I had to stay still and not move cause it was like a cramp. Every move hurt my area was so tense. It went away after a minute, but still odd.
