Siblings at Birth Poll

I'm curious to learn others' opinions on this matter. This refers to a birth in a hospital based birthing center that is amazingly family friendly. The toddler in question will be 22 months old and already has two older siblings (both of whom were present at her birth).

I don't have a general opinion on this for others. For me, I would not have a 22 month old there for a variety of reasons. Child could become distressed, could distract me from labor, could be scared by the things s/he sees. My biggest reason is that in a couple of my deliveries I've had last minute relatively large complications go on (one involving a very distressed baby, resuscitation, etc, the other requiring an emergency c/s) and having had it actually happen I'd prefer not to have the additional thought of what my 22 m. old thinks about it all.
