Question: Does anyone here use cloth nursing pads? I really don't like the idea of using disposable nursing pads (which I have been using because they work), since they're full of chemicals and I'm sure that some transfers right into my baby's mouth. However, every time I try to use cloth pads, the moment they're wet I get super itchy and damp feeling (ick!). I just have some basic cotton ones, is there something else that's better? I really don't want to have to change them every single time I nurse, as I leak a lot. Any suggestions?
I made some felted merino wool ones, though I never ended up leaking, so I can't tell you how they worked. Lanolized, like wool soakers though, so I assume they'd be awesome on the nipples. They aren't hard to make at all, but I know you can buy them too.
