Okay, ladies, I am sure this is breaking all the rules, but I figure I'm safe if I post it here.  My store is running a $500 gift certificate photo contest.  You all take such awesome photos of your kids...I'd love it if you entered.  I just got the contest website up and running.  The winner is determined by vote, and I know we've got some people here with a good track record.  Click here for the contest website.  joy.gif

Rainy season has started here in Victoria BC ... it rained for a week straight and yesterday was the first sunshine day.  We went for a walk to our favourite park nearby and saw a peacock, lots of ducks and squirrels.  You can tell it was the first sunshine day in a while, the playpark was so full :)  Eli was staring at the duck that was about 3 feet from his feet - he is so aware and curious about things - I love seeing him learn :)

Hey, Autumnshades (sorry, I don't remember your real name, and didn't see you in the roll call) I didn't know you were in Victoria! I'm in Vancouver. We used to make the trip to Victoria at least 3 times a year (we have family there) but haven't made it since Oren was born.

That picture of Eli is so cute! And our boys are only 6 days apart! They even look kind of similar.

Hi Kirsten (I hope that is right ;) )  We live near Beacon Hill Park so we go there quite often.  We have been in Vancouver a few times, but haven't really done much - last year when I was about 22 weeks pregnant my inlaws came from Ontario and we went to the Aquarium and Stanley Park, and in June we took a ferry trip over to meet them at the airport there again, so we could hang out in Van for a few hours and then they came to visit us here in Victoria.  Oh my name is Sonja by the way :)  I am originally from South Africa (born and raised) met my hubby online 10 years ago (he is from northern Ontario), moved here 6 1/2 years ago and got married 6 years ago.  :)  I love Victoria, we lived in Ontario briefly but missed it here way too much.

Our boys do look similar, I didn't know they were only 6 days apart.  Eli arrived 6 days earlier than his due date - no one believed me when I said that it would be a boy and that he would be early :):)  but I was right!   If you are ever out this way again give me a shout :)

Sora is a doll!

Becky, whenever you post pictures of Levi he seems to have so much personality. And I love the tummy pictures.

Thank you! He does have such a big personality! I love him so much!

Sheepish.gif I just usually don't "bare all" ever since having Michael. lol Maybe if I were 20 lbs lighter. I know it's the norm, though and I'm okay with that.

So I know I have always talked about how tiny B is, but I thought this picture would put it into perspective a little since none of you can actually SEE her.  This is B, next to her 2.5 month old cousin! He is on the bigger side, but still...wow...haha.

Casey stayed on the small side for the longest time. She was able to wear her 3-6 month clothes until she was almost a year old and didn't reach 19 pounds until she was 17 months old. Levi is so much different. He's already in 18 month clothes and 21 pounds.

Ash, I was going to ask you if B had a twin we didn't know about because WOW they look alike! bigeyes.gif lol.gif

I knew she was bitty, she's the same size as my 5 month old! I can't even imagine his tiny body walking.

This is funny because there is no blood relation at all!

B looks totally silly when she walks, it's almost creepy. Like seeing a tiny little infant walking.

hehe Thanks. I love it when babies smile with their teeth. Levi's top teeth are big, so it's a bit inevitable. lol
