Jasper is only 21.5 lbs. I pretty much only wear him on my back. So much more comfortable. He really likes it. He doesn't feel heavy at all on my back.

I don't wear Enoch much. He's maybe 25 pounds or more.

Two pictures of my two youngest tonight (I know my daughter isn't a Nov 11 baby, but she IS a Nov 09 baby ;) )

Sara, Eli wiggles a lot when I try to move him onto my back.  It is really dangerous when I am out and about to try and get him on my back (going to the park, and going home).  It is easier when my hubby helps me, to make sure Eli is safe.  He is a real wiggle bug :)

You reminded me how I haven't babyworn in a while. I miss it. greensad.gif I'm going to have to try the back carry again and see how Sora likes it. I stopped front carrying when she kept trying to escape and was driving me nuts lifting her arms up where they shouldn't be. How heavy is Levi? Did he feel pretty weightless on your back at this age?

I HATED front carrying Levi at the weight he's at. He's 21 lbs. It would hurt my back so bad! He fell asleep within 15 minutes of being on my back. lol

We walked to the store yesterday evening and I had Levi on my back and the only real reminder that I was wearing Levi was his loud snoring! lol.gif

Sonja, wiggling would be challenging. I have been throwing my kids onto my back for so long that they have always seemed to know to be still. That's a really cute picture.

When I flip Jasper around to my back, he thinks it's hysterical and bounces all around. I think it's just that I have so many years of experience doing it. One tip is to point your back into the open car. That way, if there were a slip he'd fall in the car. Though I always imagine a baby would never fall far. Our hands are on them anyway, so we would probably grab them super quick.

Yeah, I've never had a kid fall. They hold on with their legs at this point.

When I threw Levi onto my back last night, I just sat on the floor and let him come up behind me, gathered his hands up with one hand and pulled the carrying panel of the Boba up with my other hand. I don't feel comfortable with the hip scoot yet because I feel like he'll fall, but I'm definitely going to be practicing it. And thank you! :)

Becky, I totally just throw the boys onto my back. Like up over my shoulder. It's funny, I recognized Levi but not you.

Maybe because you see pictures of Levi more than me. ;) lol

Yeah, and I think everyone keeps losing weight.

If that was a compliment, thanks. LOL Finally only 8 lbs to go until pre-pregnancy weight. :D

Back carries all the way around here.  And it's true, the baby will get used to being thrown on your back and stay still while you adjust the carrier.  It's when you don't feel as confident yet that they sense the uncertainty and might be more prone to wiggling as well as the novel nature of being on your back.  I would suggest putting him on your back frequently throughout the day while you're at home over a couch, bed, or carpet so you can get confident and he will get used to it.  Then it will be no problem when you're out and about!

I actually got Levi on my back using the hip scoot with no problems a bit ago. He just laid there on my back. I think he was really tired though because he's asleep. haha

I'm gaining weight! Darn desk job. I was 14 lbs below my pre preg weight, but I've gained 3 lbs since I started working.

We don't have a car so it makes it harder to find a safe spot for the 'in case'. I think when I get more comfortable and used to putting him on my back it will get easier. smile.gif

I somehow ended up back on the first page. They were so bitty.

Thanks Ladies :)  He always makes goofy faces when you point the camera at him.  He loves raising his eyebrows and is a cutie pie of various facial expressions.  It is so funny!
