Ha ha. Oren's got this crazy male-pattern baldness/mullet thing going on. Can you see it in this picture? His hairdo has been likened to Kevin Costner's.

Kirsten - I had a meltdown baby this evening.  I should have taken a picture too - It was terrible ... he was screaming nonstop for 45 minutes and I have no idea what was wrong.  I offered food, drink, soothing, calm dark environment etc ... nothing helped.  He was pulling ears and shoving fingers in his mouth... so teeth I think.  He got 2 new teeth within a few days of each other.  So maybe there are more coming.  :(

Yeah, this was a teething-related meltdown from a few weeks ago. He got two bottom incisors and a molar in just over a week of terrible. He's never really done that for teething before now, so we spent the week being terrified that he would just scream nonstop from 1 until 2 like his sister. But now he's back to himself. Well, the toddler version.

haha I don't do well with gel OR clips/hair stuff. I love stroking his hair. Gel would so ruin that for me. I'm just gonna suck it up and cut it soon.

Ouch... he was dealing with this blood blister over his emerging tooth for days and getting two others at the same time...  no wonder we didn't sleep for weeks

 

And, he's a walker now, choosing to walk more than crawl...

I'm shocked he let you into his mouth like that, haha. Conner hates when I try to go in his mouth, ESPECIALLY when he's working on teeth... And that looks painful.

Casey was bald until she was about 16 or 17 months. It took forever for it grow as long as it did. Then I got tired of it and chopped it. lol

My daughter was bald until she was 3! Like, shiny headed bald. She had her first hair cut this year, right before her 6th birthday. Lol. She got a lock of hair in a card that said "Babies first hair cut!". It was funny. Her hair is really thin, too thin for clips, and I actually wonder if she doesn't have some kind of Allopecia or something.

Bettie at least has a very small amount of hair, not even enough for a clip, but there is hope.

Cute piggies. Most of my boys came with hair but my girl was bald. I went to daycare with with a baby whose mom taped barrettes to her head. I guess headbands are a big improvement.

Sora had her first haircut by 6 months. She had a total duck tail/mullet happening! Her hair is so straight and fine that it's difficult to keep clips in. Headbands are adorable but she takes them off within minutes.  I do like having a baby with hair. It probably makes her look older than she is, though!
