In my house, this is what a toddler sleeping in a toddler bed looks like...

Yes yes, we are in the tiny toddler bed. It's the absolute only way we ca figure to peacefully transition her into falling asleep in her own bed.

Hey, it works!

Eli ran off while we we in the outdoor store and when I tracked him down (giggling smile.gif gave him away) he was trying on hats...

Little dude is definitely a lefty.

Sunset down at the beach :):)  it is nice and cool at night.  I went out to buy some warmer clothes for Eli - poor fellow was shivering up a storm a few nights in a row when we were walking.  I love cooler evenings...

Gorgeous pics at the beach!  Love it!

Nicole... are you or your dh a lefty?  My dh is sad that none of our kids appear to be lefties (he is).  But handedness can change for many years.  It appears that dd (6.5 years old) is right handed for writing/eating, etc. but throws and kicks with her left side.

I'm pretty ambidextrous, but no. I kick with my left foot. My uncle and his Grandma are, but that's it.

Interesting. Both of my parents are left handed but all of their three bio kids, me included, are right-handed.

Really?  I thought it was mostly genetics and some nurture/environment based on need and forced conformity.  But I also know the genetics are confusing.  Apparently it is not regular autosomal dominant/recessive.

Eli does most things with his right hand, but he has a tremendously good left throwing arm ;)

My mom is left handed but all three of us kids are right handed. My Dh's dad is left handed but all 4 boys were right handed:) it is such an interesting concept.

Awesome pictures, Jaimee! Wow, Avery is looking more like Austin the older he gets!

Avery's hair looks doofusy in these pictures.  I cut it today while he was napping... didn't do a terribly good job, though.  Bangs are too short.  So it's still doofusy.  Oops.  But when his hair looks normal then he does look a little more like Austin, but goofier.

I learned she knows how to take a running start and swing on her belly...

Her feet can't reach the pedals yet but she likes to sit on it anyway...

Little kid-size furniture cracks me up every time...
