Here's my KJ!  She's got her dad's hair and eyes and my sister and brother's skin tone.  I'm super-fair with freckles and dark red/blonde hair and hazel eyes.

Me too!  Bettie has almost black hair!  I have no idea how it happened since I have red hair.  DH has brown hair.  Ive got a redhead, a blonde, and a baby with black hair...

Hair color and skin color are controlled by many, many different genes so there is a huge array of possibilities.  Certain hair colors are recessive/dominant to others, but there will be quite a bit of variation within those colors.  It's also possible for newborn hair to fall out and grow back in another color and for hair to change color as the person ages. 

Ds1 has very olive skin that turns almost purple when he tans b/c he gets so dark.  He's darker than dh who is significantly darker than me.  Dd also tans much more than I do, but no where near ds1.  I have a feeling that Avery will be more like me with fairer skin, darker hair and maybe, just maybe blue eyes.

I think that DS1 got my skin tone- more olive- and Dylan definitely has DHs' skin tone- very pink!  He gets bright red when he's upset.  Poor little guy.  

Both my boys have been born with darker hair, and it falls out and grows in blonde.

Katie, she is absolutely adorable!!! I just can't get over her lips and eyes.

Amanda, I think they say a baby will darken up to abou the color of the scrotum and ears. That's what they told us in nursing school, anyway. 

Ash, both my boys were born with black hair that grew from blond roots. My oldest had black tips for a long time. Not sure what will happen with the baby.

Becky, is the picture focused only in the middle because of a lense or did you add the effect with editing?

Becky - OMG your babies are such amazing mini versions of you!  They are all so gorgeous and I'm loving all the Levi pics.  And also had to laugh at the "ATTENTION CATHETER USERS" on the background screen. Classic!

My DH left the baby on the couch for 5 minutes and this is what happens.  Olivine loves her baby so much she tucked herself into bed next to her.  (she got the blanket herself)

Naomi had dark skin until she was about 3 months old, when it lightened up, but she's still darker than me and her sisters, though just.
