This is Oren, all dressed up to go home, less than 24 hours old! He's wearing the same sleeper that his sister wore home, and the sweater I made for him this summer.

Here's a link to Greta's newborn photo shoot. My ILs got us a package with a local photographer to do pics at newborn, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year. We get birth announcements now and a frame with one pic from each session at the end of it. They did the same with DD1. Now I just need to pick one or two for her birth announcements.

She gets another newborn shoot tomorrow. My sister's good friend just started a photography business and needs pics of a newborn girl for her portfolio, so she asked if she could do a free shoot with Greta. As a Christmas gift, my sister is buying us the cd with all the pics on it so we can get the ones we want printed off. So, we'll just get the birth announcements from the above link and use the free shoot to get pics for ourselves and probably give some framed ones out as Christmas gifts.

Mal, how awesome to get all those free photo sessions!  I love the close ups of her with her little eyes closed and the one at the end with her arms up in the air.  Did you knit the little sleep bag she's in?

Those are beautiful.  I have a newborn photo shoot planned for Dec. 1st.  I just hope I've had a baby by then!  :)

Rachel - What a handsome little (okay, big) man.  I can't even imagine having an 11lb newborn, you go girl!

Becky, I'm a little concerned about the colouring in his face. He looks very dusky. I think it might be prudent to have him examined to make sure his O2 sats are okay. It might be the photo quality, but he looks alarmingly purple on my monitor

Same here. I'm sure the photo quality doesn't help, but he does look very, very dusky/purple from here too.
