Hi Everyone!

I've decided this week posting in the One Thread will bring you luck. Why? Because I said so, that's why. I'm thinking positive and visualizing BFPs for everyone this week.  It's going to be a great week. I know it.

Gator-mom - I hope you caught the egg!

knittenkitten - that's a beautiful BFP!! And that's awesome that you and your friend are pregnant together! My BFF and I had lunch today and she is technically waiting until March to TTC but since I am, she is changing her mind. LOL Also, the cheapie tests always seem to get darker after the test. My OPKs get super dark after about 45 minutes.

Hi SilaMaria!

Stevi, good luck with the pineapple AND sperm!

shesaidboom - welcome!

AFM, OPKs have been FUN this cycle. After I posted that picture yesterday, I tested in the afternoon and that one was way darker than the one I thought was positive the day before. Both OPKs today have been light so I think I caught the surge! Also, something I never experienced or noticed before, but I'm almost positive I was experiencing mittelschmerz last night from about 11pm-1am. I realized I felt the same thing last month but passed it off. It wasn't just a twinge or cramp, it was pretty uncomfortable and I could feel it in my bowel and felt pretty intense pressure - exactly the same as last month. So neat!

My temp didn't jump up today and if doesn't tomorrow, my body is playing a sick joke. My CM already seems to be changing to creamy. We had a great BD marathon for the past few days as well. Things are looking good. Now if only doing everything right would result in pregnancy for everyone.

DH's birthday is on the 30th, what an awesome bday gift it would be to get a BFP before then.

Belia, I am SO sorry about the loss of your beautiful dog. We had to put our 12-year-old kitty to sleep in August and it just about killed me. I loved her so much. It breaks my heart to imagine you going through this pain. I wish for peace for you in the coming days.

KnittinKitten--Congratulations! joy.gif Regarding the darkness of the test, I am certainly no expert, but I noticed on mine that the darkest line I got was the one where my urine appeared to be the most concentrated. It was a yellower color on the test than my other positives, and the line was darker too even though it wasn't FMU. Then the next morning I took another test and it was light again. My (uneducated) guess is that once your hCG is really high, the line is likely to be quite dark, but early on (I first tested 10 dpo) it can probably be influenced by how much water you have been drinking and that kind of stuff.

Belia- I'm so sorry for your loss. I rescued a dog last Summer, discovered she had Epilepsy last Winter and had to put her down back in June because she woke up one morning to a seizure and never stopped seizing. They couldn't get them under control. It was terrible. It still sucks. I still think of her and get down in the dumps, so if you want to vent/whatever, feel free to PM me.

KK- Huge congrats! Make sure you jump over to the Graduates!!!

AFM- I haven't spotted at all today. I asked my DH how long I should go without spotting before I quit wearing a pantyliner. He goes, "Never. The second you quit wearing one, you'll start spotting again." LOL He's probably right.

Thank you for all of your prayers and positive thoughts for my beautiful dog.  It means so much to me that kind people from all over the planet are thinking of her as well, even if its just for a moment.  I wish I could say that I'm feeling better, but I'm not.  I just want her back home with me where she belongs.

This is the hardest thing I've ever had to go through.

Best wishes to all- I hope that everyone has a good week.

KnittinKitten - With my son, the line fluctuated for a good couple of weeks.  It was dark, light, dark, light...then at about three weeks post conception it stopped fluctuating (yes, I really did test that much).  So no worries - a line is a line!  Congratulations!

Maman - Here's hoping you caught your O!

Thebyr - I hope your bd every day approach works.  We'll be doing the same thing, soon.  Please set a good example for my eggs! ;-)

AFM - I'm going to be calling in the morning to see if I can get my IUD pulled this week.  AF is so bloody painful, I can't stand it!  So, I might be out of "waiting to be ready" limbo sooner than I thought!

Belia: I know my kitties are like children to me and if something unexpected happened to them I would be devastated.  Know that we are here for you even if you just want to share some happy memories of her.  That's helped me in the past when I've lost a dear pet.  Everyone handles it differently and the grieving process can take some time before you even think about entering the healing stage.  Sending you my love.  hug2.gif

shesaidboom: Welcome!  I hope you find that this group of ladies are supportive and encouraging.  They are the best I've found!

TTCChloeorConnor: At least your DH has a sense of humor!!  He's probably right, you know?  wink1.gif

MamanF:  Hope your body isn't playing tricks on you!  FX that your temp spikes in the morning.

AFM: My in-laws left this morning.  Thank goodness.  Now off to work in the morning.  I start new classes this week, HR and Statistics.  Bleck.  I'm so sick of school but it is a necessary evil.

MamanF- Thanks for the new thread! I hope you do give your DH a happy 30th bday surprise! I was thinking that for both my DH's and my own 30th earlier this Fall, but I didn't get my birthday wish yet :(.

Belia- Grief is such a tricky thing. Just take your time with it. The healing comes as it needs to, so don't feel bad about not miraculously feeling better yet. More hug2.gif

FF- How exciting to be almost there! Do you have the copper IUD? I have two friends with that one who both tell me horror stories about their AF!

Mylissa- I so relate the the school drum! I am in my last year of nursing school now! I also noticed you are just about my same age, and we both have Ds's that are about the same age too! Maybe we'll get pg at the same time too! lol.

AFM- Temp actually went down a bit, but not before what FF is calling my coverline. FF says I O'd 5 days ago, but I still have strechy CM (decreased, but still there). The libido is down a bit, but I could just be tired.. What do you guys think? This is the first month in a year where I actually set an alarm to take my temp by every am which is earlier than even my early riser DS gets up! http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3076f9 Sorry if the URL isn't a hyper-link..I'm on a different computer and I couldn't get into the usual window I do my posts into!

Gator - I don't always trust ff, but in your case I really can't see where else to put it.  If your temps are correct, I think ff is right.  Are you sure you're not just finding leftovers, not ewcm?  Oh, and yes, I do have the copper one.  I've hated it ever since I got it.

Thanks for the new thread!

Stevi:  I think that it should be okay to go ahead and start the pineapple core early.  I really hope that you caught that eggie!!!

feralfox:  I hope that you can get your IUD out soon....i hated mine when i had it and had it removed less than 6 months after I had it put in!!!  I didn't have problems with getting pregnant until after I had my IUD, i'm not saying that it caused my fertility problems, but i don't think it helped much. (which nether did the fact that my doctor changed my BCP like every 3 months when i was younger and pulled me off the shot and the patch within 9 months of using those too)

Belia: BIG HUGS AGAIN!!! I went thru this in high school when my favorite cat we had for 6 years got hit by a car and died.  I really hope that you can heal soon, but it's totally understandable needing a lot of time.  hug2.gif

AFM:  DH and I sat down and talked and he understands how much I want another baby so he's agreed that as long as we can do this on our own without medical intervention he will keep trying.  We only have until the first of January to get pregnant right now or we will have to wait until June or July but at least I have him agreed on the next baby idea :)  That is a start!!!  I'm so happy that the bleeding is slowing up even more!! I might actually get to try this cycle (i didn't get to try until the cycle after my last MC because of the bleeding and spotting and my body not reacting right) so maybe this is a good sign!!!  I hope everyone has a great week!!!

belia: losing a pet is heartbreaking. sending you lots of love.

kk: not sure if i congratulated you yet, but WOOHOO!

mamanf: i love the titled of this thread! i'm really kicking myself for not charting this cycle. i thought it would help me to not obsess but now all i want is to know for sure when O happened/happens. i had an u/s on friday and the doc said it looked like i would ovulate very soon and when i charted on unmedicated cycles, i typically o'd somewhere between cd 11 and cd 13 (ish) and i'm on cd 13 today... so... it's a guessing game now!

MamanF, thanks for the new thread!

Gator-mom, I checked out your chart and I think whether you ovulated or not probably depends on your charting history. Just looking at your chart I would suspect no, you haven't ovulated yet, but if you tend to ovulate early and have low post-o temps than obviously it could be a yes. I know you mentioned that your temps have been all over the map before trying the alarm this month - how are you temping? Have you tried temping vaginally? I know it's, well, way ickier but IME it's much more accurate if oral temps are erratic. And it definitely beats setting an alarm.

Well, yesterday's temp must have been a fluke from staying up late the night before, because this morning it trult plummetted! So, I'm off for a morning visit with Slim. While I don't have perfect timing, at leaste I have some BDing in.

Think Fertile Thoughts!

Hi All... Now that I am at the end of AF I am getting excited again. The double whammy of a sick toddler for 10 days and AF AND lack of sleep was enough to get me thinking twice about trying again this month. But here we are and I excited to get BDing again! I haven't been able to temp yet, sleep has been too erratic. I will set an alarm tonight...

I am going to try BDing earlier this month, in case the charting doesn't come together, because I have been having 24 day cycles and when I conceived me daughter it was on day 10 or 11 of what would have likely been a 24-25 days cycle. It is only day 7 today but I am feelin' in the mood, so I think we will jump right in... I am trying not to be too obsessive this time around. We'll see how that goes.

Hm.  I thought I posted earlier, but now it's not showing up..weird.

Brichole:  I'm glad your DH is on the same page as you now.  My DH wavered for a long time, and it was such a relief to finally hear him say he is on board for the long haul!

indie: Good luck with the BDing!

Thanks for the thoughts on my chart, FF and gozal.  FF said that as of today's temp, it can no longer discern that I have O'd.  So now I just have no idea what to make of things!  Fertile looking CM is gone and my libido is just about gone as well..but now FF says I haven't O'd!  If I can't get a clear pattern this cycle and I don't end up with a BFP, I will follow your advice, gozal, and do vaginal temping.  I just wish I wasn't wondering if I've even been ovulating these past few months!

Brichole - I'm glad your husband is so receptive.  I'm really praying for you guys to have get your sticky bfp soon!

Gator - the link to your chart isn't working for me now.  No idea why.

Please add me to "waiting to O"!  I got my IUD out today (not without a fight) so we're full steam ahead!  So, the fight:  The family practice clinic that I have gone to before (I can only go to this one, because I work for the hospital and am covered by their insurance, which is excellent) has what they call "open scheduling".  That means you call when you need to see someone, and they promise to get you in within 24 hours.  They say right on the website that this is how it's done, and they don't make appointments in advance.  So I waited for AF, knowing that removing the IUD would be easier then, and I called this morning.  They told me that the earliest they could get me in would be the 28th, way past AF!  I asked what I could do, and they said I could go to the clinic as a walk-in.  So I did, waited over an hour, and then was told that they don't do IUD removals for walk-ins, and I'd need an appointment!  I was ripping my hair out by this time, so when the poor little resident came in, I let her know how frustrated I was.  She talked to her supervising doctor, and he agreed to go ahead and pull it.  Thank Gods!  It took two hours of waiting and a bit of stress, but it's finally gone!

FF:  How frustrating that you had to go through all that!  I'm glad that your persistence paid off!

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3076f9  Here's a new link for my chart..hopefully it works now.

Was talking to my sister in law today who just got a vita-mix and is doing this super juice cleanse and she is trying to talk me into waiting on TTC and do a 4-6 month cleanse first!!  I told her I don't think I have that kind of patience!

Thanks everyone for all of the input! Once the test dried, they looked identical. I'm just kinda overreacted because of the early loss I had in July. I only have a digital left which I'm planning on taking in about a week, but everything seems to be going great; lots of creamy white cm, no spotting, sleeping like sh*t. Thank you all for the congrats! I'm almost totally convinced this LO is going to stay.

MamanF: Everything sounds really promising! I really hope your temps cooperate and you and your friend can be preggy partners!

FeralFox: I'm so happy you got your IUD removed! Happy baby making!!!!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone! Hopefully I don't get to know you ladies too well before we all move to the pregnant forum! I want BFPs for everyone.

Belia - I'm so sorry about your dog. Losing a pet is so hard.

FF - how frustrating!! I'm so glad it came out okay though.

I'm still in the 2ww, debating testing tomorrow (10dpo) or waiting until my blood test on Monday. I'm worried about seeing yet another BFN on the stick, so I might have to work myself up a bit.

Hello all! Its been a while. Many of life changes. But I am here because I had two SUPER faint BFPs tonight. Will be testing again in the am. EDD 7-23.
