Belia and Deborah: Yyyaaaayyyy!!! Congrats!

To follow up with the Ina May topic. Sorry it took me so long. She showed a video of an elephants named Riski (on YouTube) being born and the mom kept opening her mouth so wide, a great example of sphincter law! Also, she referenced another video of a chimp giving birth at Attica Zoo. The best nugget was that we as women, have bodies that know exactly how to grow these miracle babies. What a beautiful and important thing to remind ourselves!

Belia- ET is embryo transfer. They transferred two.

AFM, pretty sure I O'd yesterday, so Please move me to waiting to know. Our timing wasn't stellar, so I think our chances are fairly slim this month, but you never know, right?

knittenkitten:  That sounds really cool.  I have only read one book by Ina May and it was years ago...I'm thinking I should get one her books back in my house so that I can get into a conceiving kind of mood!

 

AFM:  The comedy club didn't even have wine!  Boo :(  I did have a beer which foamed all over and I had to chug half of it to keep it from making a mess..was probably not even worth it..lol.  BUT I threw a wonderful Blessing Way ceremony this morning for my friend who is about to have her third baby.  It was very peaceful and loving and fun, and I felt myself feeling very light and embracing of everyone.  I was worried it would just make me jealous, but instead made me appreciate my friends and I even thought..maybe being around all of these baby vibes will help me out anyway!  I also met my friend's doula and had a lovely talk about lots of stuff.  She told me there is a part of the Kama Sutra that is good for conceiving positions (I think) but I forgot the name of the book she recommended me find it in..so I'll look into that.  If I find out anything earth shattering that we don't already know about..I'll pass it along here :)

Knittin - I just saw your bit about Ina May.  She's a great speaker, isn't she?  She's very down to earth and practical about everything.  I would love to go see her again at some point, if I can.

 

Gator - I hope you had a great time, despite the lack of wine!

 

AFM, I could be going crazy, but I feel like I O'd last night.  Yesterday I had an icky abdominal period feeling for a few hours.  Then later, I was laying on the couch, watching a movie with my head on Husband's lap, and I got sharp pain in my side that lasted for a few minutes.  I wake up this morning to a temp drop, and I'm watery, high, and open.  Could it possibly have happened this early?  Could having my IUD out have caused it to happen this early?

Afm, I'm 6dpo and my temp shot up from 98 yesterday to 98.6 today! How long does it have to stay up before I can say it's triphasic?? This has never happened before!

FF:  What CD are you on?  I don't know of IUD causing early O.  Since you had in the copper, I would guess that it wouldn't affect your hormones at all.  So I guess it's possible you've just been having an early O date all this time?

 

Fnord:  If I remember correctly, it needs to be up for 3 days in a row to be considered triphasic.

 

AFM:  7DPO now ( feel like I've done this before..lol).  My temp was down yesterday and back up to the highest point yet today so I'm sitting here trying to convince myself that I implanted yesterday...  It's all about positive talk!  Also...I had this weird dream last night that my friend and her husband died and I was going to be adopting her kids.  I don't know if I should take this as symbolic, morbid on my part or just a total fluke..lol.  I haven't even seen or talked to this friend in weeks, which makes it all the more random.

I'm only on CD10.  My last cycle was 33 days.  It seems impossible that I could have O'd this early.
