~~The Super Lucky ONE Thread~~ November 13 - 20 - Page 3

I've been lurking for a while and I've seen the amount of BFPs come off this thread... so I'm thinking I should join you!
We're TTC after an early loss in August, and we're taking a "casual" approach to things.
Well, DP is doing it casually.  He gets stressed if I tell him when I O, when we should start our marathon sessions, etc.  So he doesn't know where I am in my cycle and is happy, and I get to temp/chart/obsess and be happy.  It's a lovely compromise :P
My chart: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/JelloPanda

my premium membership is about to run out (in 10 days!! augh!!), and I don't know what that will do to my link. Oh well.
I should be added to waiting to O. Hopefully it will happen in the next 2 days or so!

Welcome JelloPanda:  When your VIP membership runs out, it just means you can do analyzing stuff on there.  It will still track your O date and when you DTD and cervical mucus and all that, but it won't speculate one chances and stuff like that.

So of course, as soon as I committed to CD11 on here, FF changed my O date!  Now it says CD16 was O day, which makes more sense by my symptoms I guess, but that means there's only one possible BD session that could make it happen and it's two days before :(  I think unless this one actually worked, next cycle, I'm getting OPK's...

Welcome Artificial Red and JelloPanda!  These are a great group of women.  JP- It looks like you have a nice, long LP.  Good for you!

Any professional chart stalkers want to take a look and tell me why FF gave me crosshairs on CD 20 instead of CD 21 ???  If this were a random chart I would have guessed CD 21 for sure.  Is there something I'm missing?  Thanks.

Belia, FF is just super obsessed with correlating ovulation with a temp dip, that's why. I tend to listen to it because I do usually have a dip right before o, but sometimes FF's judgment is skewed weirdly because of this obsession it has and I ignore/override it.  Did you have any other signs? CF or o pain? I think it could be either one, cd20 or cd21.

ETA: A2E, you've been here with me since I joined and my heart breaks a little to see you go. However, I think there is nothing better than peace, real, deep peace, and I am so happy that you've got it. Thinking of you...

Welcome to all the newcomers!

Ugh, Belia I am in the same boat.

I just got my crosshairs today on a CD14 temp dip (which, OMG, because I typically have 40-90 day cycles. I think the the Synthroid I'm on is changing that though, because the cycle before last was 36 days, and i think last cycle was a fluke due to incredible amounts of stressful things. Anyway,) I am sooooooo beyond annoyed with my SO because when I saw all that EWCM on CD14, I messaged him at work and told him we HAD to BD that day. And then when he got home he "didn't feel like it" so I'm pretty sure this is another cycle wasted. mecry.gif

I'm just so upset because we've been trying since March and every time we're out and see someone with a baby or a little kid he always says things like "I want one of those" and "Why don't we have one of those yet?" and it makes me feel really awful because I'm so powerless in this. And now a super rare textbook cycle is just down the drain because he chose to play Skyrim instead. Ugh.

Anyway, I hope gozal is right and it is just a weird FF obsession and that this is my cycle, finally.

Oh yeah, and I'm not pg. MamanF, can you go ahead and move me to Waiting to O? Thanks.

Will update as soon as I know something!

fnord: i totally get you on feeling powerless. and sometimes it feels like the more we try to take control of things the more roadblocks pop up! i hope this is your cycle and you give us some bfp news soon!

OKay I apparently can't stop stalking and secretly am hoping that it just "happens" even though yes I am charting every thing possible except temp....LOL the temp is just too much for me to commit too...ROTFLMAO.gif Either way I am staying on here! MamaF can you please move me to waiting to be ready (even though I am but the other half is not...sheesh)... I will still be doing my FF charting and you all can chart stalk me Here:

I am apparently addicted to watching all of you lovelies progress and I just can't lurk anymore without saying hello- so Hello all and I can't wait to see some BFP! Hope none of you mind me being here :)

Hi everyone! I'm sorry I haven't been around much lately. I'm just not feeling really positive about the whole TTC thing right now and needed to take a bit of a break. Anyways, I should probably O sometime in the next 3 days or so unless my body is just messing with me.

I apoligize for the lack of personals but I'm just way too far behind. I'm going to try to follow things a little more closely again, but for now, just sending hugs to everyone who needs them, and fertility vibes to everyone!

Welcome to all the new faces!

I wanted to share that last night I had the pleasure of going to a lecture by Ina May Gaskin! And I got her to sign a copy of "Birth Matters". I don't know if anyone cares I just thought it was awesome and wanted to share.

Carlin : big hugs!

A2E: I'm so glad you are at peace with your decision. Go live your awesome life, and know that if you ever need us, there will be a community of amazing women here to support you.

How lucky are we to have such a supportive and wonderful group here!?! Can you hear the pregnancy hormones talking?

MamanF: I think I'm ready to be moved to graduates. I really will miss you all, but not for too long cause I know you will be following shortly!

kk: that is really cool! she is a legend! did you learn anything interesting you'd like to pass on to us? also, i am totally riding your high right now. your good news is making me very positive so please continue to post! thumbsup.gif

KnittinKitten - Awesome!  When my son was 4 months I got to go see her speak, and got a pic of her holding him.  She really is a bit of a celebrity to the crunchy set.

Carlin - WB.  I hope the small break helped you, and I'm glad to see you back.

Welcome to all the n00bs!

AFM, I have a dilemma again.  I have one last appointment for my tattoo, and the earliest I could get it was December 7th.  I am not prone to infection, and the shop is super clean and great with their sterile technique.  If we do somehow get pregnant this month (which I'm doubtful of, anyway) I'd be right about 4 weeks at that point - roughly 2 weeks past ovulation.  So that's borderline as far as fetal vulnerability goes.  I'm torn.  Do I ttc, avoid, or do the not-trying-not-avoiding thing this month?

I have the urge to go POS crazy this cycle and to test every morning until Thanksgiving.  biggrinbounce.gif I've never had the urge to just do start testing defying all logic, because we all know that I'm probably not going to pop positive on 7 DPO. However, I just kind of want to do it.  Any compelling arguments for those of you that have done it? Yeas? Nays?

i say wait at least until 9dpo. are you "feeling" preggo??  i know i felt pregnant at 7dpo when i was pregnant before. i tested early and didn't get a bfp til 9dpo but i definitely felt the prenancy early.

IUI was uneventful... 2 weeks til beta... I am watching all the Twilight movies until Friday when I go see the movie with my friends (I'm a geek). Also, I have to work another 13 hour day tomorrow because one of my co-workers grandpa died. It isn't a 'big' deal, but 2 days at 13 hours in a week is a lot, I don't look forward to it. Working on not stressing, I'm so glad it is Thanksgiving next week and my mama will be here Monday-Friday... Unfortunately for me, I have 2 baby showers in the next week, woop di do.

Krunchy - You never know, you could get a result at 8 or 9 days!  I got mine at 10, which is still pretty early.  If you have the tests to "waste", I say go for it!

Cait - Ugh!  Baby showers are the worst when you're ttc.  *big hugs*

Yea, I agree on the baby showers!  I am throwing a Blessing Way for my friend who I LOVE, but I know it's going to be depressing to help her celebrate her 3rd baby, while I'm still waiting for #2 :(

Wow, I go away for a couple of days and come back to see that we have a bunch of new faces around here!  Welcome everyone!!  It's great to have you here!!

Cait: I did the baby shower thing, a twofer as well, a couple of weeks ago.  Gah.

KnittenKitten: I really admire Ina May and am jealous that you got to hear her speak!!  We'll miss you around here. H & H 9 months to you!

So many more personals I need to do, but really, I'm exhausted and need to get to sleep sometime soon!  I'll write tomorrow.

AFM: Temps are very rocky so far and I have no idea why.  I wake up at the same time, put the thermometer in my mouth in the exact same place every day, get about the same amount of sleep every night and am not drinking or anything.  Totally bizarre.  Hopefully things even out soon or FF won't be able to tell when I ovulate.  We start our BD marathon tomorrow and OPKs.  Maybe after getting a BFN with a pretty chart I'll get a BFP with an ugly one!!

I'm sick again... Badly swollen left tonsil, so I spent the night waking up to hurtful swallows, and now I feel all bleh. Doing salt gargles and hoping it doesn't get worse and get to my lungs.
