Has anyone experienced what feels like cramping in your cervix? The only reason I think it's my cervix is because it's the same place that feels sore after a pap - fairly low on my belly, right in the middle. I was walking to lunch and had to slow down because of the pain. It was kind of scary. It lasted for about 15 minutes then went away. I'm sure it's normal...right?
I get a similar sounding pain from time to time, too. It generally seems to happen when I'm slightly dehydrated and/or doing an activity too vigorously. It seems too early for it to be a Braxton Hicks, but that's what mine feels like. I think as long as there's no accompanying bleeding, it's probably just your body telling you to take it easy and stay hydrated.
I get it too. I got it a lot in the third trimester with my second baby- like ALL the time, especially if I was walking around. I always figured it was placement of the baby or other stretchy/adjustment feelings- although how long I've been standing and how badly I need to pee definitely play a factor as well. I've never been too worried about it because the cervix is all attached up to your uterus, so as one stretches and shifts I figure it will pull around on the ligaments and supporting tissues around the cervix as well.
