Hi fellows!

Hard to step on the scale this morning... Carbs and sweets were main dishes yesterday

Hmmm... I stepped on the scale Saturday, before eating out and celebrating Easter with family, and I was right on 130 This morning this same scale is saying 133 Well, no hard feelings, I've enjoyed every moment of my week-end

I have plenty of vegetable in my frige and some broth in the freezer... soup will be on my menu

And I better go for a walk :LOL

Have a nice week! Don't feel guilty if you have gain a little... nice family time makes memories that will last forever, those little pounds will be off soon

I think I lost 2.5 lbs.
yep-easter was great!
After hitting my mini-goal of 140, I am back at 142.5.
Not feeling too badly about it though.
Dh took almost all the sweets into work with him this morning. There are still a few tempting things left, but I think I'll be OK.

I made it out of the 180's and am SO SO SO happy. I had been in a bit of a slump, no losing as much as I wanted, stuck in the 180's. Here's my info now:

Last week: 180 lbs
Current weight: 177 lbs
Total loss this week: 3 lb
Total loss since baby: 49 lbs
Total loss since September: 35 lbs
Total Loss since joining MDC Club on 2/9: 17 lbs
Made my mini-goal of getting inot the 170's. Now I thinking of adjusting my larger goal downward since I am only 2 lbs away, but I think I'll aim to meet that goal this week and hen work down.
Larger goal: 175 lbs
Ultimate Dream: 165 lbs

Good luck everyone!

Last week: 189 lbs
Current weight: 189 lbs
Total Loss: 6 lbs
Mini goal: 180
Larger goal: 160 lbs

i am actually very pleased that i stayed the same this week, cause the easter bunny was just a little too tempting, and i ate stuff that i wasn't supposed to have. other than that, i have been great with my no sugar/low sugar.

need more exercise though!

I'm so excited that I'm only 1lb above my mini-goal! I guess 8lb isn't all that much to lose since Christmas, but I've had comments from a few friends, so you can see the difference! I'll have to start deciding on a new mini-goal.

Oh, I'm not doing too bad with the low sugar thing. I think it IS helping me a lot, less of those sugar crashes and I'm finally past my weight plateau. I was 147 when I got preggers with my 11mo ds and I've had trouble getting past that number.

5'2"
Start weight: 154lb
Last week: 148.5
This week: 146
Weight-loss this week: 2.5lb
Total weight-loss since Christmas: 8lb

Mini-goal: 145lbs by April 24th (ds' first birthday)

Final goal: 125-135lbs

(all weights are with shoes & clothes)

Last week/Starting weight - 282
This week - 279

Total loss - 3 lbs
Mini goal - 260
Ideal - 180-200lbs

I think it's remarkable that I even lost anything trying to squish a new program between two holidays. I even only took seconds on the veggies yesterday. Yeah me!

At last! At last! Prgoress to report!

I weighed myself Saturday for the first time in two weeks,
before the onslaught of goodness knows what I ate yesterday

I had lost 2.5 more pounds!

So my orig. weight was 153.50

I got to 148

I am now 145.5

My goal is 138

I am feeling just ever so slightly more svelte and silky today

Off to work out!!!
ag I lost 2.5 lbs too! Hurray

Last week's starting weight: 137.5
This week's starting weight: 135
Goal weight: 124 by August 28, 2004(brother's wedding)

What's really exciting is that it was pretty easy to take this eight off! I cut out sugar and cut back my portions and worked out. Suddenly I have the motivation to do those things and it feels wonderful! Thanks to you all, I'm on my way!!

Wow! Looks like almost all of us lost 2.5lbs! I was so relieved to see the scale go down... I've been losing and gaining the same 2.5lbs for the last month or so and finally lost one lb last week and 2.5lb this week so I'm over the hump!

Hmm... maybe I should take the kids for a walk after our insurance appt instead of :!

Checking in for the first time...

I don't keep a scale, so honestly, I'm not sure if I can even check in here weekly. But here goes...

Height 5'11" age 32 (will be 33 the end of the month!)
Starting weight 189.4lbs at my pap appt in January
Started working out the second week of February
Weight as of last week 179.9lbs
Mini goal--down to 165 by the time dh gets home in June
Final goal 150....eventually......sometime in the future.........

We usually eat pretty healthy, I am conscious of my protein and carbs, and I eat plenty of fresh fruits and veggies. All I really do is try to limit my sweets, especially after 3pm. And I'm faithful to my workout, 1 hour daily, cardio 4-5 X per week and weights the other 2-3 days. I love my workouts, and I work them around the kids naps (most of the time), but if not, well, my toddler can do an almost perfect pushup! LOL!

Good luck to all of us!!

Let me quote you a little something from Finding Nemo:

"We did it, we did it, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah...No eating here tonight, no eating here tonight, no, no, no, no eating here tonight (you on a diet)!" LOL

I just feel like celebrating for everyone!

Started here: 185
Last week: 172
This week: 170
Total loss this week: 2 lbs
Loss since start: 15 lbs

I reached my mini-goal!

New mini-goal - 165 lbs.

I have not been 165 since I got married so I have abit of a mental block. Right now I'm at my lowest post partum weight I got to with my last two kids, give or take two pounds.

Blessings all,
Melissa

I had a nice Easter and did not see the scale move up although the munchies hit today and I have eaten quite a bit of healthy and not so healthy foods, so we will see if I lose any this week! I made my husband take all the sweets with him to work to share so hopefully that will help!

Last week: 157
This week: 156
Lost: 1 lb
Total lost since birth at 11/03: 39 lbs.
Mini goal: 146 by end of May
Ultimate Goal: 130

I hope that the rain ends soon, I was really enjoying walking around my neighborhood pushing my son, about 2 1/2 miles.

Good luck to all this week in your weightloss endeavors!

Rachel

First-time checkin for me!

I weigh in at 138 now

My eventual goal is 115 - but I'd settle for 125 by Christmas :-). I'm not looking to lose weight fast as I'm still nursing my DS and am TTC (all plans off if we conceive).

Man, Easter was bad for me, too! Gotta get away from the sugar again. And of course, am going on vacation to the beach this week, which will be temptation island for bad for me foods.

I've been walking this week, which has been really good for me psychologically, if nothing else. Hopefully the lbs will start to drop more quickly here soon - otherwise I'll never get to my goal!

My method: water water water, proteins & fruits/vegs, low sugar, fewer carbs in general, walking for exercise.

This week: Goal is to walk 10 miles or 4 hours total. Better put the shoes on, baby!

My stats:

Height: 5'5"
All-time high (1/03): 215
Began at MDC (3/04) : 195
Last week: 191.8
This week: 190.4 (I weighed yesterday, before the Easter goodies...scared to think what the weight was this morning with all that salt!!!!)
Mini-goal: 185
Goal by Labor Day (my 25th b-day): 142

Go weight-loss buddies go!

edited for pesky punctuation....

Hey gals--

We are at my parents for 2 weeks so we'll see how things go. They have a treadmill that I am very excited to get on!!

Ok April 5th I was 175 my mini goal ios 170 by the end of April. So, I have a couple weeks to reach that 5 opunds loss. I think it is possible.

We hadn't eaten out in 3 weeks (moeny and health reasons) Anyway, we were in the car travelling (10 hours) and we ate McDonalds in the car. I about hurled after 4 or 5 bites/ I hadn't realized how much fat we had taken out of our diet until then! We hjave been eating so much better lately!

Oh, and I've been told I MUST drink 80 ounces of water a day. I've been having joint issues and I didn't know that bfing reduces the water supplied to yourjoints. So, my chiro said that they normally tell bfing women 80 ounces a day. That is enough liquid that I don't have the energy to drink anything else

Congrats on all the "2.5 lb" losses! :LOL

As for me, ugh. I was down to 135 last Friday, and then we went to stay with the family of one of DH's co-workers for the Easter weekend. The French do know how to eat...and eat...and eat... not to mention the drinking...might as well have had red wine in an IV. And the "Easter bells" brought too much chocolate (no bunny here, it's flying bells that drop Easter treats in the garden... I guess it's not really any weirder than a long-eared furry hopping critter bearing chocolate! :LOL ). It was a carb-fest too, sigh. But dang it was sooo good!

Also AF showed up this a.m. -- maybe I can just blame the gain on bloating?

Started 11/10: 165
Last week: 137
This week: 139
Mini-goal: get back to last week's weight :
Final goal: 135-ish (starting to think I want to be on the lower side of "-ish" but I will be content to settle in that area if that's what the ol' bod wants to do)

Off to fill my water glass!

Hi, I want to join too. I have been putting off losing weight since my son was born 7 months ago. I hope a support group will help me. I do not have scales, but do go to my parents every 2-3 weeks and weigh myself there. I was stuck at 160, over the last 2 months I have lost some so I am excited although after this weekend I was up a few pounds. SO here it is...

I'll put starting weight: 160
current weight:152
total loss: 8 lbs (since i really started trying)
mini goal: 145
larger goal: 130

So we check in on Monday's right?
Oh I just started working out too. Last week I walked 2 miles 3 days and today I started Tae Bo. (that was fun!) I am exhausted I am so out of shape.
