Renting Hospital Pump vs Purchasing a Pump?

Any advice, part of me wants to go ahead and purchase a pump instead of renting one from the hospital. 

Since I will primarily be pumping in order to be able to miss a feed here and there, I was thinking of getting the Medela Swing Pump.

Any recommendations?

How long are you planning to pump?

I will most likely use it for occasional pumping, to be able to leave the baby to go out to dinner, or out in general. 

I went ahead and bought the Medela Swing pump...
