my baby doesn't poop for 5-6 days

My baby is 3 months old just a couple days ago and has been really really gassy and uncomfortable since the beginning. In the start though she would poop on her own a couple times a day and seem to feel better right away. But now she doesn't go for 5-6 days, I take a Q Tip and put vaseline on it and put the tip of the qtip in her bum some times this works but most times it doesn't. Also she isn't consipated, her stool is runny....
Q1) Is this in anyway harmfull for her, now or later in life?
Q2) What else can I do to get her to poop on her own?

I can't stand to see her like this, in pain and discomfort.

Is your baby BF or FF?

BF babies can go several days without pooping; if she's gaining weight, it's probably fine. Or she might be reacting to something you're eating. Is there something you eat a lot of that's a likely culprit?

If she's bottle fed, talk to your ped about potentially changing her formula.

My baby does the same thing. He is also 3 months old and has pretty much been this way since the beginning. I've spoken with my midwife and two different pediatricians about it, researched on my own, and found that as long as the baby is gaining weight, things are fine. Some babies just don't poop every day. My little guy goes as long as 2 weeks sometimes, and my doctors were not at all surprised by this. They say that sometimes the breastmilk is so efficiently digested that they don't need to poop as much. As long as the poop isn't hard, they aren't constipated and all is well.

Yep, that's a totally normal stooling pattern for a breastfeed baby of her age (older than six weeks) and if she's gaining weight well no reason for concern. There's no reason to do anything to make her poop.
I'm afraid being gassy and fussy is totally normal, too. It will pass as your babe's digestive tract matures.
