Q1) Is this in anyway harmfull for her, now or later in life?
Q2) What else can I do to get her to poop on her own?
I can't stand to see her like this, in pain and discomfort.

Is your baby BF or FF?
Â
BF babies can go several days without pooping; if she's gaining weight, it's probably fine. Or she might be reacting to something you're eating. Is there something you eat a lot of that's a likely culprit?

If she's bottle fed, talk to your ped about potentially changing her formula.
My baby does the same thing. He is also 3 months old and has pretty much been this way since the beginning. I've spoken with my midwife and two different pediatricians about it, researched on my own, and found that as long as the baby is gaining weight, things are fine. Some babies just don't poop every day. My little guy goes as long as 2 weeks sometimes, and my doctors were not at all surprised by this. They say that sometimes the breastmilk is so efficiently digested that they don't need to poop as much. As long as the poop isn't hard, they aren't constipated and all is well.
