Im wondering if anyone uses anything like this in their bed. DS will be born in late jan/early feb and it is pretty cold here then. We heat with wood, but if the fire goes out in the night then sometimes it gets cold. (Not super, super cold, but sometimes we wake up and its around 50 degrees in the house, which I deem to be super cold.) Im just wondering if it is safe to use something like this as his spot in the bed. We have flannel sheets, but we really only sleep with one quilt (and fleece on our skin side.) DD was born in march, and it was chilly but as soon as it warmed up I loved her sleeping semi-naked next to my skin. I want to make sure we dont lose that skin to skin time just because its January. I am looking for a way to avoid having to sleep him in zip up fleece pj's every night, but I dont want him to be cold. Any other ideas?
