Prometrium vs. Pro-gest help REALLY needed.

On Nov 5th I got a letter from my medical insurance company stating that they wouldn't cover Prometrium that my dr prescribed for my low progesterone because they don't cover medications that promote pregnancy (!!!!!) and I can't afford it out of pocket @ about $150 a month. Found out last week that the insurance probably will cover it when I am pregnant. But I have been losing the babies before the hpt positive tests so I just need progesterone in between ovulating til I get the positive blood work. So I called my dr to find out how much emerta pro-gest I need to take to equal to the dose she gave me for the Prometium. And the nurse called back and told me the dr said that she can't recommend a dose because studies haven't show that it is beneficial. So I need help. She prescribed 200mg/day vaginally of Prometrium. The Progest cream has 20mg per packet. Do I use 10 packets/day? More/less? I don't want to miscarry again, Please help.

I've used ProgonB by Bezwecken sublingual progesterone sucessfully during pregnancy. I got it at iherb.com The price is very affordable. 8 pellets is equal to 105 mg of progesterone. Progesterone cream wasn't strong enough (and hard to get enough in dosing) and I found the ProgonB to be the perfect solution for me. I also used it to fix a LP defect and my LP was longer using the ProgonB vs prog cream. You may not even need 200mg a day the whole time. You can have your progesterone monitored to make sure you have the right dosage too.

Hope this helps!
