Anyone else losing hair so much and so fast that you think you'll be bald by Christmas?

  Yes!!  It's EVERYWHERE.  Not just the shower, there's hairs in the car, in the kitchen, there was one hanging from DS's mobile. I'm constantly pulling them from inside my shirt, like from my back where they tickle/itch.  Crazy!  A switch flipped somewhere, lol.

hmm, we all must be going through another hormonal shift ....i had not lost any hair for the last 6-7  months or so maybe longer...now, you can make a wig each time i shower

YES!!!! Oh my goodness! Mine is also congregating between my boobs and itching . . .

It was super alarming at first though, I wasn't expecting it!

I think there is officially more of my hair on the floor than my labrador's. :)  Elliott always has it in his hands and on his clothes.  The other day I found a hair in his diaper...that he pooped out. LOL

Yes!! And it is so GROSS! I had pretty short hair with DS, but this time my hair is probably at least twice as long and... Just ick The texture has totally changed too! It's so dry and brittle and DEAD feeling. I'm considering cutting it short again just because the dead feeling on my neck is grossing me out, but when I try to pull it up it exposes how thin it is.

Yeah, I think my hair currently comprises about 50% of the total contents of my bathroom trash can.

My hair loss just started the past few days. My hair was thin to begin with and I never felt it got much thicker during pregnancy- so at this rate I'm really not going to have any left. I'm really considering cutting it short, BUT I'm not sure how my husband would like that and I don't want to shock him too much when he sees me at his Army basic training graduation. With short hair and makeup and a baby thats almost doubled in size- he might not recognize us.

Stormy, maybe since you are just now starting to lose your hair,  it means you will lose less?  

So I knew that *I* would be losing hair (by the fistfull), but I didn't expect DS to be losing so much! He was born with a ton of long black hair, and here's his new look. It's like a high-and-tight with a rat tail.

I can hope . That looks identical to the back of Mags' head. She had lots of beautiful black hair when she was born. Now she is almost completely bald on one side, going bald on the other and losing patches in the back and front. For some reason I had no idea babies lost so much hair until she was born.

Rafe had the same "old man bald look" going on as well.  He's only keeping the dark hair in the back on the bottom.  The rest has fallen out and is coming back much lighter than his newborn hair.

So I bit the bullet today and got almost 2 ft cut off. 14 in was donated to Locks of Love! My hair had just gotten so icky and the back stayed tangled and I was tired of chunks of it falling out everytime I took a shower. I really didn't think my hair had gotten much thicker in pregnancy but I happen to have the ponytail I cut off last time I got my hair cut short (meant to mail it in but never did) and compared it to the ponytail from this time and the one from this time was almost twice as thick - I have really thin hair to begin with though.

2 ft?  That's a lot of hair to deal with.  I keep contemplating making the cut.

Srsly, how am I not bald??  I have huge amounts come out in the shower.  My hair feels so thin now, it's insane.

haha, Reed has that hair too!

I am losing WAY more this time than I did with the girls. I can't even wear my hair down because it just falls out everywhere. Poor reed wakes up with hair everywhere, including his poo-hole. Poor kid! I actually clogged the shower drain the other day. Looking forward to normal hair again! The crazy thing is that my hair didn't ever get thicker this last pregnancy!

I keep accusing Charlie of trying to go through puberty early with all the pubic hair he's trying to plant ;) Poor thing. I'm not sure how it gets in there!

Oh boy! Why was I MIA for so long!? I have been losing hair too, like I HUGE clumps! I got to the point where I was panicking and "googling" post-partum hair loss!  It seems to be slowing down now, but I've been losing it steadily for a month now.
