Am I, or what?

Thread Starter

I don't keep track of when I had my periods because I just got married in September and quite frankly, I was looking for a cute pocket calendar to use and hadn't found one yet.

But I am pretty sure I'm late.

I'm not positive.

And neither was the EPT test I took.

I'm a very small lady (size 2 on a good day), and my belly has been SO bloated for about 2 weeks now - there is actually a bit of light pressure as well.

Just before that happened I completely lost my ability to drink coffee (SO SAD...I thought I was a bonafide addict).

I've been taking 1 - 2 hour naps daily.

I have lost my appetite, but continue to eat because I know I should (this is SO strange for me).

I've been forgetting things.

Heartburn in the evenings.

I keep telling myself, "You're not pregnant the test said so."

But I feel pregnant.  What is going on with me?

Is it too early to go to the doctor?  I am thinking that if I am pregnant I'm probably only 6 weeks or so.

You could just have some kind of bug.

And, I was exhausted and felt that way for a few months when I first got married.  It was just adjusting to our new life together.  Took more out of me than I expected.  (well, I had an appetite, but I was tired and sluggish and things)

Or, you could be pg. :)  If you are 2 weeks late, I think a doc ought to be able to help you out.  Maybe not with total certainity, if you can't be postiive of your dates.

If you're 6 weeks along, pretty much any HPT on the market should be able to give you an accurate answer. Most of them are pretty accurate at 4 weeks.

That said, stressful things like a wedding could completely knock off your ovulation and make you ovulate really late. So if you are pregnant, you may just not be as far along as you thought you were.

Either way, the only way to get a sure answer is to go to the doctor and have a blood test done.

Good luck!
